Renard: Why “Sate Sate” is not in my team

Share

Herve Renard says Nkana’s prodigy striker Reynold Kampamba must work very, very hard to win back his national team place.

Kampamba has continue to be snubbed by Renard despite his consistent form for club rather than for country over the last two years.

The Nkana striker has also failed to score any goals for both senior and junior teams since December 2011.

“I would like to see more determination, to show anger and to push the door more to be in Chipolopolo,” Renard said.

“He played a lot of friendly games with him and he hasn’t scored.”

Renard said the difference between Kampamba and his Nkana attacking partner Festus Mbewe was that the latter was a team player despite not scoring a goal during the 2013 Cosafa Cup.

“Festus understands what it means to work for the team,” Renard said.

“Someone got a chance to prove something he did something and he played well.”

Mbewe has scored 10 competitive goals this season while Kampamba is four goals behind.

    • HR ststed, “He played a lot of friendly games and he hasn’t scored.” Not even a penote(penalty) we are in trouble!!

  1. Narep is a new generation party with a serious shortage of thugs in its midst. Kaponyas fond it strange to see composed faces and peaceful statements. Narep should continue acting in a cvilised manner. Even if u do not win the presidency soon you will have shown Zambians that politics is better off without stone age tactics for staying in govt. I do recall that hh started on the same note and has continued that way despite very serious unwarranted provocation. Carry on guys. One day, an Obama may come to Zambia. Look at Kenya.

  2. Useless coach for chipolopolo,he cant tell who is suitable for national duties. We have been wining because of favour from God over us(as evidenced by our current way of celebrating when we score) not from the fake coach.

    • uli chipuba sana iwe, leave God out of your madness why were you not winning all this long. Its wonder, no civilsed person can work with bafoons like you.

  3. And how many goals has Festus Mbewe scored for Zambia? Ba Renard ur not talking to Kids, was he not the top scorer last season?? What’s your point sir?

  4. this coach of ours awe mwandini….if u hate some one just come out in the open other than giving false excuses………..Sate Sate is the player of the moment and Renard can’t tell that we are all fools and that we have no brains………..Sate Sate can creat chances for others to score and at the same time he scores what is renard telling us……..Balimupata fye umwaice……..Icalo conse cilelanda pali sate sate ukumfwa iyo……..

  5. Rubbish Let Zambia beat Ghana and qualify to the world cup not ifyaupuba alelanda.Renard this is your last chance.

  6. Renald is not a coach but a physical trainer. No wonder he was fired in Angola. He has the following weakeness
    1. He cant read the game
2.He makes subsitutions not relevant to the game.
3.He keeps tired legs in the team
4.He doent not make his own decisions
5.He does not look at perfomance ,he looks at personalities eg Cliford Mulenga case despite apologising he is not included in the game.
    6.He is a spectactor not a coach

  7. Renard your are very stupid. you cant even remember that SATE SATE was the top scorer last season, and this season has just started we even havent reached half way, GO KALAMPA GO…….

    • Leave Renard alone you Nkana foolish supporters. How many coaches in Zambias history has made happier than him? no one, even your own relatives failed to make us happy when they were coaching the national team.GO TO HAIL YOU *****S.

    • @ Chipolopolo tawakwata amano. How dare u insult a Nkana supporter with a valid point? Ulicinangwa cikala foolish? Anso iwe….. uletola nobwa pona.

  8. Festus ‘MWANAWAKWITU’ Mbewe is representing us in the national team. Kampamba is a valuable asset to KALAMPA, Nkana fellow supporters let us enjoy football and not throw our asserts to be worn out before we win the premier league :).
