Give PF time urges Chief Macha

Chief Macha of the Tonga speaking people in Southern Province has said it is too early for people to start criticizing the Patriotic Front (PF) government that they have failed to develop the nation.

Chief Macha told QFM News in an interview that development takes time to yield results therefore it is not fair for people to start criticizing the PF in the first two years they have been in office.

The Traditional Leader added that the two years the PF have been in power is not enough for them to deliver development, hence need to give them time to finish what they have started.

He furthermore added that UNIP ruled for twenty seven years but that there was nothing notable that they did in terms of development, yet the PF has just been in office for two years which is not enough to meet all the people’s expectations.

Chief Macha has also called on fellow Chiefs in the country to desist from engaging in active politics.

  1. This Macha foooll thinks PF started running government from today, I dont think he is simply ignoring the 2 years we gave PF.

    • Between and you, take that comparison before you insult him. You now have recourse to insults and belittling everybody! Who do you ever respect? Yourself only? What about your own parents? In the name of politics, pew all is gone loose, crazy mental sets, man.

    • NO BODY FORCED MICHAEL SATA to put a time frame of 90 DAYS when he would give Zambians a people driven constitution, create employment for youths, honour BRA,no Load shedding, reduction in prices across the board etc.It is because of this time frame which the told voters that is making them liars.Sata should clearly come out in the open and tell Zambians that he lied or he understated the development time frame.Chief Macha should not be the one crying for time as he too was cheated.

    • st.upid fo.olish hungry tonga cheif!!.. when people dominate you and your subjects dont complain!!!
Big UPS to bashilubemba who know what they want in life and are not afrad to state it !!!

And Macha why are wearing ivory on your hand when you are stu.pid and afrad??!!!

    • In as much as we have freedom to say anything you want, it is always better to examine ones conscious and brainstorm on whether you would want somebody else to use those same words on your Father, Uncle etc.

You could have put your point across without ever Insulting the Chief.

    • Ba Ndobo & Zono, why don’t you learn from your leaders??? Sata insulted Chief Chitimukulu Sosala… and now see what has befallen upon his PF & Friends. Kabimba namwimina, and all PF ministers are experiencing chipumputu every morning, they can’t even be in parliament.
Ico ni mishiba, umuti ndemilanga: You guys apologize to Chief Macha

    • @nostradamus
Ba nostra, no problem, i will apologize to (chief) macha the day Sata apologizes to bashilubemba!! thats a deal.

    • Leave him alone one mans cup of tea is another mans poison, this is not about “your enermy is my enermy” neither is it a me casa su casa ( what is mine is yours) situation.

    • It’s u a fool & ur father, coz ur foolish father did bring u up in a human manner. Moreover,u r short focusd lik ur father.I know u r lazy & ur father too,but mune, nikasumba kakelaamba mulingane nabaliile. The whole world pipo are riotng coz of poor economy, wat of zambia?Pliz,my Dog, jst appreciate the little u r receivng frm our mother zambia.

    • right from the onset, you can tell where things are heading to. we do not want to come and regret 27 years from now when we can already see we are headed into doom.

      chief macha wake up.

    • Greetings Mwanawakwithu,

Yes bro, the chief is wise. Patience is a virtue indeed.

PF laboured so much to break the ground and plant the seed, and it needs time to grow before the fruits can be seen. But now some people are cursing because the plant is taking too long to grow, they already want to it of the fruit before it buds.

    • It’s practically impossible to have anything tangible seen in 2 years. Even a Company registered today, would probably not have started making profits in 3 years.

Doesn’t really matter which politician is there, learn to start fending for yourself. If you’re a hustler, a street vendor, a marketer, callboy, do it to the best of your ability. It’s only for the betterment of yourself and own family.

    • what virtue??!! this chap called macha is forwarding his belly,,, he is making his statement with a view of receiving a brown/black evelope..
This hungry tonga chap is aticipating low yeild well knowing that the PF agricultural policy is a hiroshima!!!!!!!

  2. F-o-o-lish chief, comparing unip to pf?? Even Sata cant agree, but why are saying its early if u want to compare with kk. Sata appreciates kk but u??

  3. thank you tonga chief.
at least you are bold enough to give credit were its due.
maybe you can personally extend this same advice to our own hh and his followers.

    • The chief is being disingenuous to say there wasn’t anything notable in UNIP’s reign. To cite a few things, we had no libraries in most of the provincial headquarters. How many schools, colleges and universities did the Kaunda regime build. How many kilometers of Tarmac roads did they leave? Most of the people above 35 years went through free education under the Kaunda regime. The reason why people are not patient with the PF govt is that they started from a foundation of lies and then once in govt they don’t seem to have a clear direction and policy upon which their direction is being steered. Policies are being formulated on the hoof. Look at creation of provinces and districts! Look at salary hikes and then by-elections and govt appointments. No coherence.

  4. INTERESTING POLITICAL LANDSCAPE IN ZAMBIA, I AGREE WITH HH NO ONE PARTY CAN CLAIM TO HAVE 100% DOMINANCE IN THEIR SO CALLED STRONGHOLD. THIS IS AN EQUIVALENT OF CHITIMUKULU IN SOUTHERN PROVINCE. BUT ANYWAY WITH THE 280 HOUSES THE GOVT HAS PROMISED TO BUILD FOR CHIEFS AND BUYING BUSES FOR THE YOUTHS WE’LL SEE A LOT OF STUFF IN POLITICS.

  5. Is this a chief or the guy who was cutting the grass behind….

You can not wait for an accident to happen when you have seen the driver has lost control…

This guy does not know what he his talking about… better continue cutting the grass

    • The reason why UNIP did nothing in 20 years is because f.oolish people like this chief gave UNIP 20 years to do nothing.

    • this chap macha has no clue of what he is taking about…he is hungry and desperate!!!! i have no respect for him like Mpezeni

  6. Chief Macha, what worries most of us zambians is not so much about time the PF have been in government,it is about the direction where the PF are taking the country. There is alot of tribalism, nepotism, dictatorship, economic mismanagement etc. These are things which are worrying.

    • @sadi, very mature language I should say,the PF is already making strategy to increase regional participation beyond the masumbas, winters etc that will do away tribal issues and eventually nepotism. This year has really been a hive a plenty activities ,hospitals roads ,districts creation ,revitalising of nitrogen chemicals hence the cash is strained. The GDP which is the economic mirror also appears favourable ,the opposition are not happy because with a little organization & planning PF is all Zambia needs.wise words from the hardworking chief,Lets emulate truthfulness.

    • For me it doesn’t matter who is in statehouse. Non of them has ever bought a bag of mealie meal or bread for my family.

Learn to fend for yourself than hope any of these will provide for you, coz non of them will have your interest bwana.

  7. This man seems much wiser than some so called learned in the likes of HH, Mumba, Nawakwi etc… who want to use anything to discredit govt. The chief knows how long it takes to bring about development unlike some of these people that have failed to run their businesses, parties, churches etc.. They had more than two years to manage their portfolios but still failed lamentably and today they want to come out like they are experts. Go to Chief Macha and be schooled. PLEASE CHIEF EXTEND THE SAME MESSAGE TO YOUR SUBJECTS, PF NEEDS MORE TIME.

    • A good judgement would be to see what projects the chief himself is championing in his chiefdom. I will be impressed if he has any initiatives of his own as chiefs can be channels of development as opposed to waiting for that from central govt.

    • RB was president for 3 yrs, which i believe is 11 months from now for the pf govt, and they really had a lot of negative things to say about RB regime, hence the 90 days promise !!!!! so should the pf govt be given 11 more months or what ba chief?

  8. Tsktsk! Some Zambians, sha!!! Even where we can see progress within 2 years, we want to pull the hard working PF down. Shangombo shuwa, who are they that they should receive roads and bridges? They are something to PF. That is just one part of Zambia they have touched! The Tongas say “uutalumbi…..” Please PF, focus on continuing to build Zambia and ignore the talkers and back stabbers! Shaa!! Mwatusabila!!

  9. His Excellency Chief Macha is sounding like a mercenary, just like is friend Chief Mpezeni. We suspect Daniel Munkombwe has conveyed Sata’s a big brown envelope and the right parotic praise verses to Chief Macha. He should consult the Bemba Chiefs for a better real analysis of the PF Governance. We the people of Eastern Province do not relish the punishment being meted to our RB and the mutilation of the Zambian Constitution, and therefore we pray for the day when PF will soon exit the Government to allow credible parties to restore normality and civilisation in this country.

  10. Give PF more time? Are these not the same chaps who won the elections on the premise that they would deliver in 90 days? Like some of us warned you, PF chaps are liars who used any trick to get into government.

    • Are you Afraid of PF, we are going to vote for them again. Even Pre-school teachers have been employed. Universities will be plenty, even if one fails in English will still make it. Roads in Districts will be paved. New districts being developed. District Hospitals being constructed and it is only 2 years. and it is not an election year mind you. NI BA SATA NA FUTI.

  11. we have a lot of 1diots masquerading as educated people on this site. some stupid lizards like ‘wiseman from south’ keep on changing blog names to create an impression there are many people with similar views. wooooh idio.t you are exposing yourself. that chief could have received some fertilizer free, hungry hyena like chief mpezeni, hahahahahahahahaha

    • SORRY I DON’T DO INSULTS, YOU ARE SO CHEAP. SHAME ON YOU. I CAN TELL YOUR LEVEL OF EDUCATION FORM YOUR COMMENT, IT’S REALLY SAD. YOU COULD HAVE CHOSEN A BETTER CAREERER THAN INSULTS, YOU ARE STILL YOUNG CONSIDER CHANGING YOUR CAREERER.

    • @ ‘wiseman from the south’ if you can fail to spell simple english words like career and form instead of from, how more educated are you bwana? and that is besides the point, you should’ve endeavored to clarify the allegation leveled against you. to me you sound like a typical kaponya busy defending the undefendable

  12. Laughed when in the Presidential debate between HH and Gen Miyanda in the run-up to the 2011 Presidential and General Elections, HH could pronounce Kampompo. Now that’s the guy who wants votes from the Miners when he can’t even associate with them.

HH again asked someone at a meeting we had at Edinburgh in Kitwe, what Zale is, when someone from the audience asked baleponyako nama zale… Politics is no childs play

  13. BUT MWAMI ,YOU BUILD TOILETS FOR EVERY HOUSEHOLD IN YOUR CHIEFDOM IN ONE YEAR AND YOU GOT A MEDAL IN SOUTH AFRICA.

  14. What time? If somebody is going to Mongu instead of Eastern province for two years and cannot realise that, what chance? One has to get the basics and foundation right for development.

  15. Good afternoon

Scenario: A plane takes off and all the passengers are happy with the crew. A few moments later, the plane enters an active front and the passengers begin to experience some turbulances.

    Options:

    A. You can panic and change the pilot and his crew before the plane has landed.

    B. You can remain calm and patiently wait for the plane to exit the active front.

C: You can start cursing the pilot and the crew or whoever supports them.

D: You can start putting on your survival kit.

    • Answers;
A; Change the pilots immediately if they are stu.pid and fighting among themselves
B; dont be patient in the face of a possible crush, do something to save yourselves!!
C;Dont curse the pilots kick them out if they are stu.pid and dont know what to do!!
D; yes survival kit!! and reject stu.pipdity!!

    • Iwe Ndobo, how do you change the pilot when you are alread in the air? I also dont agree with point ABC and second part of point D, i suggest staying calm untill you land meaning having arrived on safe ground then get on swiftly with Points ABC and the last part of point D, in this case, when Zambia has a concreet and solid opposition leader to erase all the upheavals the nation has been going through since….. like forever! Which is why these guys must find a way to jump four steps ahead of PF as in everything, i mean work on their manifesto of how they will over turn the situation the nation is facing right now, Economically, socially etc. They should also come up with a game changer in attacking PF to have a 100% of winning come 2016.

  16. @MWANAWAKWITU WHEN WE CRITISE THE PF WE ONLY TALK ABOUT THE 2 YEARS THEY RULED THIS COUNTRY WHICH 4 SURE THEY HAVE FAILED

    • Failure is difficult to quantify,we expect PF to finish the constitution and expedite on criticle roads like lusaka Ndola, and open up strategic industries closed by MMD thugs, eventually more employment for our youths.being a specialist in entrepreneurship I would like PF to empower youths with this key skill,At this stage MDD and hand picked HH will have no words.

    • Spot on bush,,in fact the chief marcha is just saying judge PF after reasonable time.Good things take long to come ,Zambians put on your seat belts.

  17. Let’s abolish all these so called chiefdoms!
These things keep the country in the past!

Chimbwi pakulila ninshi nabamupela brown envelop!

PF has done it in UPND stronghold!

2016 elections will be very interesting!

  18. chief macha is still wallowing in the insiginia medal that he got from sata. stupid chief indeed. I thought mpezeni was the only bootlicker. unip in their 27 yrs in power did a lot of developments, ie, nakambala sugar astate, l/stone motor assembly, mansa batteries, chipata bicycle plant, mwinilunga pineapples factory, indeni petro refinnery etc. all the these were destroyed by sata’s group in the mmd. foolish chief

  19. PF’s term for delivery was 90 days. Now it’s two years. All we see are PF cadres impersonating RTSA officials as a way of providing themselves with employment. The 90 days time frame was their own…no one forced them to make that promise. If they want the 90 days extended, let them apologize that they deliberately lied to the people of Zambia .. which will make their Sep 2011 victory null and void.

Chief Macha, the 90 days were over in Dec 2011. We cant give lying thieves any more time. Let them seek a fresh mandate by going to the polls now.

Chief, go to UTH and see for yourself. Had the MMD govt not left mobile hospitals, no one would be accessing medicals. Now they are on a borrowing spree; US$750,000,000 and now US$250,000,000 to be spent on useless by-elections.

  20. Some of you will die from heart failure. Its like you wake up and you still can’t stand the thought of Sata in Sate House after 2years. I know of a man I work with who was itching for the exchange rate to go above K6 to $1. Now that it is coming down he has a tonne of theories he is explaining to me, ranging from exchange controls to witchcraft.

  21. 1. Do not go to University to study Engineering which you can not not use. as result you will insult the PRESIDENT. 2. I am a Voter, If all People in Chief Macha’s area were like the Chief, I would be ready to Vote for H.H
