Chipolopolo interim coach Patrice Beaumelle has expressed worry over the security situation in Egypt ahead of Zambia’s friendly against the Pharaohs in Cairo this Thursday.
Egypt has been unstable following several civil unrests that have claimed scores of lives.
Beaumelle wants Egypt to put up stringent security measures in Cairo.
“I am concerned because of this situation in Egypt,” he said.
“Of course when you go in one country we have a concern for security but I do believe that the organizers of the game that when you host one game like that you have consider the security for the teams.,” the Frenchman said.
Meanwhile, Beaumelle has revealed that keeper Kennedy Mweene, and strikers Emmanuel Mayuka, Christopher Katongo plus Collins Mbesuma will link up with the rest of the squad in Cairo.
The team is expected to leave for Egypt on Tuesday night.
“Yes we will find Kennedy, Mayuka, Christopher and Collins who is already there.
Just go there and play. Orlando pirates played against Al Ahly last Saturday in Cairo, were they killed? Excuses. Don’t give Ghana an excuse to play their final match against Egypt away from Cairo.
Why do you want Ghana to lose? On that match, I support Ghana because they are Africans, Egypt are not.
Where did I say I want Ghana to lose? Do you understand english? You are thesame people who twist statements. Read my comment and understand, plain and simple english.
Egyptians are Africans you *****. Colour has nothing to do with your belonging. If it does Obama, Mo Ibrahim and Dezel Washington should go back to Africa.
If they attack you we shall send PF troops with machetes to rescue you.
PF fanatic, dont relate football to your stupid part rangles.machete for what?
@ Wren- Yes should Egypt attack our players, we will ask Kabimba and GBM to send PF troops armed with machetes and pangas to retaliate

GHANA HAS SAILED TO BRAZIL 2014 NO MATTER WHAT. THE TEAM IS CURRENTLY PLAYING FINE FOOTBALL. THE PHAROLS ARE IN TOTAL CONFUSION.
Jordan, the team that beat Zambia 1 – 0 has just lost 5 – 0 to Uruguay. What does this result tell us about Zambian soccer? In 1996 Zambia beat Burkina Faso 5 – 0 in South Africa. Burkina Faso is on the verge of qualification for Brazil. What does this say about the progress of our soccer? We need to reflect seriously.
It tells us not to under estimate anyone in any competition. This is a lesson to all of us, life is not always predictable, today all maybe smooth and rosy, tomorrow maybe thorny and pricky the roses may just turn into blood. Even Ghana who smashed Egypt some weeks ago may just be clobbered by an under dog team next week, so dont draw your fixtures on anything learn lessons, strategise and above all, never look down upon anyone not even Zambia!
