Mayuka wins Sochaux’s November best player award

Share

Chipolopolo striker Emmanuel Mayuka says he is honoured to have been
voted player of the month at his French Ligue 1 side Sochaux.

Mayuka has been elected Sochaux’ player of the month of November by
the club’s fans.

He scored three goals in the month of November though his club still
failed to win a game.

According to the Sochaux website: “Without surprise, Emmanuel Mayuka
was elected best player for FCSM for November, 2013. With 68.6 % of
votes, the Zambian outstrips very broadly Sebastian Corchia (9,7 %)
and Sanjin Prcic (4,3 %).”

“Mayuka, scorer of three goals against Olympique Marseille, SC Bastia
and Toulouse FC in November, will receive the trophy of “player du
Mois” before meeting against Rennais FC, on Saturday, December 21st
at the stadium,” a statement on the club website read.

Mayuka saluted the fans for the award.

“I must say I was positively surprised to be elected by the Fans of
Sochaux Player of the Month. Thanks to them and thanks to all of you,
at Home, who continue to believe in us.”

    • Mushota please spare us with your slander on the sports thread.

It is not having a degree that counts in life but achieving your goals and making your dreams come alive. FYI Albert Einstein did not need a degree to develop the theory of relativity. He actually did it in his spare time, and that’s after his teachers were 100% convinced that he was a failure.
Benjamin Franklin invented the lightning rod simply out of passion and fascination for light. The monk Gregor Mendel was not educated and yet he is hailed as the “father of genetics. You can be prosperous and successful with or without education, what it takes is in your DNA and not on your qualifications.

    • Mushota can you marry me? you are the most hated lady. it will be good to have you messing around with me. No one come for you when am out of home for assignments. I need the answer. Thanks to nick my competitor for teaching you how to be stupid to your admirers.

    • lol Mushota. I wish I could meet her face2face. I think shes a nice girl. I like her faithfulness on how she ends her comments, THANK YOU

    • Buti iyi ni mbwa… but am quite certain you just do this to seek attention and i must say you’re pretty good at it.

  1. Ka Mushota…..you are always againts good things. What have you done in your life compared to the young boy Mayuka. Ukuteyafye draught mu Matero. Stop yo PHD syndrome mentality wambwa we!

  2. Go, go Mayuka! To learn of your good fortunes in France, for me and many other soccer loving Zambians, it’s good news . Please keep us smiling and keep up the good work!

  3. Let’s be serious this is liken to coming 1st in a class that well below the national. ..his team is bottom of the league and he had only scored about 3 goals. ..lets have standards and benchmarks…this disgraceful to say the least!
    Wake up people! !

    • If his team is at the bottom of the log, and yet he finds the skills to penetrate defenses of stronger teams, then he sure deserves a compliment from me, sir. Who knows what else he can do with some positive reinforcements from us.

    • What counts is scoring winning goals not consolation goals when you are 4 goals down.
Let’s be serious and set ourselves high standards.
      Wake up! !

    • Jay Jay, winning goals or consolation goals does not negate the fact that he scored 3 goals in one month, which is worth noting and FYI one of the goals resulted in a draw against olympique Marseille. if you cant celebrate your small victories, you cant have major ones #Mind-set Revolution

  4. Now i believe Sociax Makula yeka yeka for a useless guy like Mayuka to be best? it tells us the reason why they cant win any game because for a kula mayuka to be best it means the rest cant even play in zambian division 2 leagues.. even an ugly lady when you put her among the ugliest, she becomes beautiful…same principle i feel for this soaciax club its not going anyway babikapo na PE coach yaba

  5. mwe bena zambia mwalishupa. why do we always argue even on simple things? nangu utalike mayuka has achieved tht and the best we can do as aountry tht cares is to support him and encourage him to do more.zambian football is not yet there and its only us who can build it. thts why i strongly believe that if mandela was a zambian he wud have not been celebleted as he is today. pantu ba zambia muli bama pull him down. at the end tushalafye with nothing to be proud. of. kulalumbafye ababene.

  6. Iwe ka Mushota, it is better to be silent than make silly comments. In life what counts is wisdom. Your degree must be out of umwembeshi reason for u to be excited. Look around globally, most of the richest are not degree holders but u get employed to them and use u to make more cash. The money Mayuka has is something you will not even get for your pension.

  7. Tiyeni uko!!

We all know that countries as well as teams have different systems of play and this is one of the reasons as to why we some players like Shevchenko, Morientes would play excellent football in a certain country, but fail completely in England. Morientes failed to shine in England because he could not fit into the system, but we see him rediscovering his form when he went to Monaco and almost helping the team to win the Champions league in 2004.

Most Brazilian and Spanish players shun England too.Dinho, Neymar, Hulk, etc

Zambian players should not be rushing to England, because English soccer is not our type. France, Holland and May be Spain and Germany. Mayuka is good and now that he is in the system that fits him, he is shining again. He is good and lets just…

    • Jay Jay, yes I call three goals shining because this is a man who is coming from a goal drought of more than one year and now all of the sudden he is scoring goals for his club. Mayuka is in the process of rediscovering his form and he has began with 3 goals. It wont be long before he begins banging braces and hat tricks.. Give credit where it is due bane.
