Former campaign Manager for PF Kasama MP Geoffrey Mwamba Nathan Ilunga has said that vice president Guy Scott is not the right person to ask Mr. Mwamba to resign.
On Tuesday yesterday at a media briefing Dr. Scott dared Mr. mwamba to resign if he was man enough in view of the comments he had been posting on his facebook page where he is alleged to have been portraying himself as the only one that can bring development in kasama constituency.
But Mr. Illunga told Qfm news in an interview that the right people to ask Mr. Mwamba to resign from the party are his electorates who are on the ground whom he says have maintained that they do not want him to resign.
Mr. Illunga also noted that Mr. Mwamba has his own reasons for deciding to stay in the party even after resigning as Defense Minister especially that he has invested so much in the party the reason why he should not be forced to resign.
And Mr. Illunga has said that in any a democratic country like Zambia, an individual has the right to remain in any political party of his choice until such a time when he feels like resigning.
Mr. Illunga however noted that the ruling PF still has the option of hounding out Mr.Mwamba by way of a petition.
He said that this is how the ruling PF, being the party in power can lead by example of adhering to democratic tenets.
Meanwhile, Northern Province PF Executive Secretary has backed the sentiments made by the Vice President Dr Guy Scott for GBM to resign from the party.
Evarist Chella flanked by the Provincial party Vice Treasurer Chomba Chipili said the party in the Province strongly backs the Vice President over Kasama Central MP to step down.
Mr Chella also said the MP is disrespecting PF by using facebook and should resign on moral grounds. He warned that if he continues to disrespect the party, the party will have no choice but to expel him.
He pointed out that Mr Mwamba should not be cheated by those who want to milk him of his money, but he should follow party rules and regulations.
Mr Chella said PF needs peace and since his resignation from Government, Northern Province has been experiencing peace which is key in any political party.
He further said that no single person can develop an area but need the Government and other cooperating party members.
Mr Chella called on all party members in PF to support the Vice President for sanity to prevail in the province.
He called PF members to maintain peace and unity in the the party and appealed to all MPs in Northern Province to meet and map out plans for the development of the province.

The Tanzanians are taking Bembas for granted because a majority of them are so gullible that they can be bought by a small amount of pieces of silver. KK used them and Sata another foreigner is using them. Each time a true Bemba stands up these foreign leaders have tended to either kill them or hound them out their parties. Zambia had great Bemba leaders like Kapwepwe and Chama Chakomboka. KK and Sata killed Kapwepwe and made Chama mad. During KK era only Chama Chakomboka had no fear for KK. He used to crticise him left right and centre but due to lack of free press he was unknown.

Doesnt Scott realise that he is making GBM popular for nothing. People usually have symphathy for the underdog. If PF were F00lish enough to expel GBM then they will be embarassed in an election in Kasama. The bembas are annoyed that their citizen Sata is embarassing their Chief. This GBM thing is a non starter, Sata messed it up when he linked it up with Chitimukulu. GBm is corrupt but who cares especially that he is now fighting Sata for them by default? The A team yalala!
GBM wanted to be president sooooooo bad it stinks. So, he starts by pumping in ZMK2.8 Billion into the campaign, then moves on to endorsing Sata early enough when he sees a possible contender in Kabimba thinking Ba Yama nga bafumapo taka ndabe. He smells a rat and then resolves, he would ride the Chilubemba current dislike for MCS due to the stand off.
He then moves to creating a propaganda machinery on facebook so he can run a parallel campaign. The folly? The new constitution will require at least some one with Grade 12 credentials.
Reality!!! His current state? He would never be president. My free advice? Go back to school, night school actually! Because after your uncle leaves office, ain’t gonna be a G7 to stand as president of the smart people of the Zambian Enterprise.

Guys dont be cheated. The so called ba Shi Lubemba have never appointed a chief since the Bembas came from Bu Luba.
There are two Bemba routes i.e from Chewe to Chikwanda in Mpika, From Mpika back to Chinsali as Nkula then await bu Chiti Mukulu
Next route is Mpepo to Nkolemfumu, nkole Mfumu to Mwamba then await bu Chiti.
These routes have never been followed in the last 5 successions. KK started by appointing his friend a UNIP from ZCCM in Chingola . This was at a time when Nkula a friend to Kapwepwe was disgnated.
Chiluba appointed his. Mwanawasa appointed a junior Chief Mpepo (MMD cadre) who jumped over Nkole and Mwamba to become Chiti. Sata then in opposition objected to this and was summoned to appear before ba Shi Lubemba.
Just that Bembas are fools
Sata reconciled with Junior Chief Mpepo and he recognised him as Mwine Lubemba before he died. However they agreed that with immediate effect whoever does not go through the routes will NOT be recognized as Mwine Lubemba.
Besides, between Nkula in Chinsali and Mwamba, the one who ascends to the senior chiefs throne first will ascend to Mwine Lubemba. Sosala unfortunately never recognised these routes because he knew they were going to exclude him.
Infact Sata would have compromised on Sosala and allowed him to become last Chiti who did not pass through the routes, had it not been for HH to strongly back Sosala even buying him chi balloon and feeding ba shi Lubemba.
Cant blame HH because the man feel all the others did it so he can also do it as incoming. UPND Chiti for a change.

Brainwave are you still living in the USA?. Do not think like an American elite when you are analyzing PF. You should have returned home so you understand the ugliness of political issues. The person of presidency and in control of constitution making process is a G.7. and never passed a test. He will make sure that the door remain open for persons with G7 abilities to contest office of presidency.

PF and Sata with their sympathizers should not abuse the media by pandering to the public exposing their uzeleza as if the whole nation belongs to their camp. They started the fire on their own and now would like other people to help put it off. Appeal to your traditional leaders in Northern province and restrict the issue there and deliberate in Bemba for effective rap our and better understanding include Guy Scott to prove that every Zambian has a tribe.
Let me try to put this in some sort of perspective. Sata started meddling in the Bemba Royal Establsihment affairs whwre he has no business as head of state, in which capacity he trid to meddle. The Royal Council told him to explain his position, and why, or phuck off, neither of which he has done yet. GBM goes to visit these people as a subject and as a member of the family as he claims, he is accused of being disloyal, so he resigns. Emmanuel Mwamba’s name for some reason comes up as GBM’s facebook editor. Mwamba was fired for giving tv/radio licences for nationwide coverage. Guy Scott feels irritated by GBM’s facebook updates and asks the guy to resign from the party. If these guys are in their rights, let them fire the man, if they are men enough, or party enough.
I really wonder why it should become an of fence each time a minister relinquishes ministerial position. The same thing happened when George Mpompo he resigned as defence minister.
In a country where leaders have no morals and are appointed out of patronage and not capability they crave their positions so much as they are their only means of livelihood hence would not conceive of resigning. Therefore when one resigns for having a different view from the party leadership and in specifically the President it is taken as an affront against the appointing officer. The President and the party in general felt demeaned by GBMs resignation hence all this unnecessary pressure to have him leave the party

Evarist Chella and the Provincial party Vice Treasurer Chomba Chipili are a bunch of parrots singing Guy Scott’s unwarranted attacks on GBM. Chella and Chipili are demonstrating that independent thinking is NOT permitted in the PF system. Hence the two have to thrive on parroting Guy Scott’s voice messages.
As for Chella, his name speaks volumes as he has NO genetic link to the Bembas and thus NO respect for the Bemba Chiefs.
