Outspoken Youth and Sports Minister, Chishimba Kambwili has said that he is not among the Ministers President Michael Sata referred to as useless.
Mr. Kambwili said this was why he is neither upset nor offended by President Sata’s remarks because he is sure that he does his job both as Minister and Member of Parliament accordingly.
He added that he also considers the President’s remarks as those coming from a parent counseling his own child.
Mr. Kambwili however said that it was only those Ministers that are not doing their jobs diligently and correctly that should be worried about the Head of State’s remarks.
He said that when President speaks generally that some Ministers are useless and a Minister gets upset, it means such a Minister knows that he or she is indeed useless.
Mr. Kambwili has told Qfm News in an interview that as far as he is concerned such statements coming from President Sata that some Ministers are useless is actually an encouragement for Ministers to work hard.
He said that this was why he has never felt insulted or demoralized by the President’s remarks on the performance of Ministers in government.

Meanwhile, The Council of Churches in Zambia (CCZ) has counseled President Michael Sata to develop a culture of mature and responsible leadership by showing respect to his Ministers and Members of Parliament.
This follows President Sata’s recent reference to his Ministers as useless.
CCZ President Alfred Kalembo told QFM News in an interview that the Church does not support the continued public humiliation and abuse of Ministers and Members of Parliament by the President.
Rev. Kalembo said that CCZ took great exception to President Sata’s public outbursts against fellow leaders both in government and outside government.
He said that Zambians are not interested to know if the President has a useless government formed out of useless Members of Parliament, but are instead interested in seeing development in all corners of the country and the country attaining some of the MDGs.
And Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) Executive Director Pukuta Mwanza has reiterated that the admonishment of Ministers should be done out of the public eye.
Reverend Mwanza says reprimanding government officials in public sends a message to the public that government is not working in one accord.

That is where the problem lies. Chishimba Kabwili & Chikwanda considers themselves as children of Chilufya Sata, and not their friend and Team Leader. Those Ministers humble themselves in same way as Kazimu & Mulenga Sata towards their father. Yes Sata can call Kazimu useless and Mulenga can be a better son, but even though a MATURE parent will never call his child “useless”.
Kambwili is indeed a useless minister by accepting counseling from a president and not his fellow ministers. And he is useless by not defending his fellow workers, whom I think are hardworking PARENTS.
Kambwili you are actually topping the list of useless ministers. The only minister who was not useless in PF is GBM. The rest of you are not only useless but your contributions to Zambia are worthless as well.

Sata is a strategist . He is waiting for early 2016 when he will crack his whip and fire all his ministers to save his face and then defect to the promising party of the day.
He is using a tactic known as “give a dog a bad name first then you can get rid of it easily”
For you MPs and Cabinet members in PF , the only protection you will have after Sata fires you is the people driven constitution. So do the onerous and sensible thing and help push for the enactment of the new constitution. With out it ladies and gentlemen you are doomed once Sata gets rid of you.

Once you have answered those questions I will then ask you a series of questions in MSc area and your field of expertise. @One Hit Wonder, you need not go any further. You can tell someone who has those claimed qualifications from the way they articulate their thoughts in speech and writing. Even Mushota does not understand what she means when she writes ‘Do you have an MBA, MSc, CIMA , ACCA Msc doing a PhD like me?’. If you read this carefully, it actually means either her ‘MBA or MSc is doing a PhD’ and not her.
Back to important issues, the whole PF leadership is useless!
Kambwili has to be at the top of the list when it comes to “useless” ministers. This statement attributed to him will confirm that if anyone is in any doubt. It is devoid of commonsense and only serves to appease the very person who insulted the lot! Typical of PF and no wonder. How does a “father” call his Children “useless” in public? How does any of his “children” take that to mean encouragement? How do you single out yourself when the counceling father didnt exclude you by name..or even title?

I am so happy Kambwili responded to the challenge of being included as one of the useless ministers. how predictable Mr Kambwili, you should have gone further and challenged Mr Sata to inform the nation if you are one of the useless ministers, for your clarity. I recall saying one of the ministers in the name of kabwili, declared useless by the sweeping statement, will deny the label of being useless and he just did just that. Mr Sata, please inform that nation if Kambwili is one of the ministers that are useless? Please this will help put the issue to rest.

In my view, Kamwili is miles ahead of the self proclaimed Harvard Graduate. Sichinga is the biggest disappointment, the man has literally failed. Even Madam Prof Luo has failed lamentably. On a scale of 10 (1 for usefulness, 10 for uselessness), I can give Kambwili a score of 5, with Luo and Sichinga both on 10.
At the moment, do not judge Luo because she was/has been misplaced in a wrong ministry ………

Collecting a chain of degrees can be very interesting. I know of one lady who has collected over seven ‘very’ good and ‘impressive’ qualifications and holds an international job,but it seems she still feels inadequate. She keeps referring to his ‘humble’ beginnings how her ‘parents’ were lowly people who were not recognized but are upright persons etc…she has issues with people she refers to as children from ‘mayadi’ and so and so forth..at every turn she ‘pontas’ it is a good thing to ‘collect’ academic papers but another to remain humble and be recognized by others. Be contend Mushota with your papers and work with the City Council. Heads up!
