Sate Sate blow for Nkana

Nkana striker Ronald Kampamba is a major doubt for this Saturday’s FAZ Super League Week Three tie against Napsa Stars in Lusaka.

Kampamba sustained a hamstring injury during Nkana’s 2014 CAF Champions League match against Zamalek in Egypt on Sunday.

The injury forced coach Masauso Mwale to withdraw the 2013 and 2012 Super League top-scorer in the second half of the match played in Cairo.

“For this weekend’s match against Napsa, I don’t think he will be there,” Mwale said.

The striker was on Tuesday given three days off.

“But if he heals quickly we can’t rule him out,” he added.

Mwale further revealed that injured midfielders Bruce Musakanya and Frank Chibuye are expected to begin training in two weeks time.

“Frank and Bruce are coming back after two weeks.”
