PATRIOTIC Front (PF) secretary general, Wynter kabimba yesterday held a meeting with Northern Province party officials where he told them to prepare for a possible by-election.

Mr Kabimba said since the people that wanted to destroy the party were no longer factors, the PF had come out stronger and united.

Mr Kabimba who was in Kasama to officiate at the Labour Day celebrations took time to address party officials at the party provincial secretariat before departing for Lusaka.

He told members that had gathered to maintain the province as one of the PFs traditional strongholds.

“In the recent by-election in Mansa, PF had in excess of 9,000 votes while UPND had 300. So in the eventuality that we have by-election, show them that Kasama is not a place to mess with.

“We had some negative elements here which you as the province complained about and rectified yourselves,” he said.

To grow the party and make it stronger, he urged members that included acting provincial chairperson Peter Mwansa and Kasama district chairperson, Caleb Monta to speak with one voice.

Mr Kabimba who appeared to be in a jovial mood said he would be back in Kasama soon and visit other districts for purposes of mobilisation.

“Northern Province has the winning formula for PF, so you need to make sure we do not lose our grip,” he said.

He said the party officials were the image of the party and needed to be exemplary and make decisions that were in the best interests of the electorate.

  1. Not sure preparations are needed as the PF are overwhelming favourites and rightly so because they are the party we want at the helm

    Thanks

    • mushota mwanawa ndoshi, thats why she surports everthing the witch kabimba says.how can a failur like him,who has never won an election moblised Kasama for a possible by-election?@he looked in a jovial mood while kalelowa ba president…….

    • ……..“In the recent by-election in Mansa, PF had in excess of 9,000 votes while UPND had 300. So in the eventuality that we have by-election, show them that Kasama is not a place to mess with.

And he is not ashamed of tribal PF politics. That the whole Northern and Luapula provinces gave UPND less than 5 000 votes in 2011 and now they only can dole out a paltry 300 votes to UPND from their tribal stronghold!

PF is the worst tribal party!!!!

    • thank you ba kambiba for alerting us the voters, but you did not specify which possible bye election, is it the ward, or parliamentary or presidential? could you please add more stake to the alert!

    • @ Siamanengo you are talking nonsense. What is the voting trend in Southern Province? UPND is just as tribal if not more going by what has been done or said in the past by the likes of HH.

    • This Mushota after failing to get even a BSc in europe for the past 20 years (but has been claiming to be persuing her PhD) has now turned to cadreism maybe his mate Kambwili can recommend her for an appointment. Dont even even be cheated by the cute photo, he is actually a man who doesnt know what his gender is really like many of these people who over stay in europe. Mushota thinks northern province people are dull to still support this corrupt and incompetent government just like Kabimba.

    • I partly agree with you on the fact that PF, “are overwhelming favourites”. But, I do not agree with you on the argument that they shouldn’t campaign. Not campaigning sends a wrong message to voters- that you don’t care about losing that seat, etc.

    • Am disappointed with Kabimba in this article. I thought he was preparing Zambians for possible PRESIDENTIAL BY ELECTION!!!!!!

    • @ Siamanengo,
How much did Southern Province give PF in the 2011 general elections?
For you to remove a foregn body from someone’s eye, clear first what is in your eyes.
      Useless!!

  2. What message are you sending to everyone? Bo Kabimba … learn to be quiet. GBM will NOT lose, even on an independent ticket. Are you saying GBM is to be replaced even as MP? Why are your sentiments full of hatred?

    • DESPERATE DANGEROUS HOUR THE PF HAD TO BUY THEIR CADRES PHONES TO BE POSTING WHAT EVEN THEMSELVES DONT UNDERSTAND ONE GRADE 7 CADRE CAN POST 20 COMMENTS USING 20 DIFFERENT NAMES

  3. We are going to humiliate fat Albert in his own backyard. He jumped from the frying pan to the fire. You think money from trucks and maize can challenge boma. Dream on obesity freek.

  4. Go on GBM and stand on as an independent and give them a real walloping in Kasama Central! Even if its to prove a point in the process. Only you must deliver to the people of the constituency. Moreso then, than ever before!

  5. let GBM stand on an independent ticket and winter kabimba on PF, I swear winter will cry blood. go back to soli people we ndoshi iwe ka winter

  6. Sata is PF and PF is Sata. With the useless MPs and Ministers,PF without Sata is gone.Sata is just being used by PF members.Sata is not well.I hope it won’t be another boxer Bwalya who was forcerd to fight on,but later died at UTH.Even Mazoka and Mwanawsa were not well but forced to go on.what happened was grievious.Pliz let Sata rest.

  7. Mansa are Kasama are sister provincial HQs, does anyone, except HH and Mumba of course, expect Kasama votes to go the other way just because of the change of MP?

  8. Open your eyes, people!. That’s is why PF is so keen to ensure MMD is destroyed so that using the tribal factor, UPND will not be a factor (so they assume) in the Bemba speaking provinces come 2016.

  9. Mule and Sage, Kasama is no longer pure Bemba town to cosmopolitan and it’s not true that GBM can win because of Mwine Lubemba issue . Mwine Lubemba issue may even cost GBM for following reasons, chief Mwamba sold land that belonged to Kasama airport, Lwaluo, Mwika, mutale Mwamba, Chinji chiluya, Kasama, mukandawa, misolo Milkman and Saili villages the land has been sold. These villages have there before even the whites came to colonise. Even the late mutale Ng’andu chitimukulu chitapakwa used to come to Chinji Chiluya to meet his relatives. Do you think people who have lived in these villages for generations are happy for their and to be sold? Kasama can not develop by one individual through his or her own pocket money . Water comes from Lukupa river to Kasama town water pump 1975

  10. You are reassuring HH with your none existing vote ? Surely this pure madness at its best. Schizophrenic person will make sense knowing you will not go to Zambia to vote when you are not even a registered voter. You cheat HH with cheapest political hallucinations that he will win. Though Kabimba is not a favourite person to many I can assure you he is better than HH in terms of understanding politics as not for few but for many. Kabimba has learnt politics through associating with seasoned and mature politicians the likes of Sata and guy Scott . Learning political language as we we have witnessed by his acknowledgement that PF membership is the backbone and survival of the party. Every person has right to join as a family member of the party means there is non – discriminatory factors.

  11. Kabimba shouldn’t FOOL himself. All I can say is he just doesn’t know Bemba’s, abena Mwanga, nor does he know the Lunda, Ushi, Ngumbo, AbenaChishi from Luapula.

Not to sound tribal but they can not vote for YOU… Get it from me.

  12. mr Kabwamba please leave those kasama people alone, dont provoke situations that are resting at the moment.concentrate on namwala.

  13. Mushota is a treacherous halfwit. How on earth can the people of Zambia invest their hopes on a bed-ridden leader. Unfolding events are indicators that sanity will soon be restored in Zambia to damp the likes of Kabimbas into an endless chasm. God Hear Our Prayers!
