The Front-end Loader that recently went missing in unclear circumstances in Kalulushi belonging to China Geo a company working on township roads in the same district has just been found in Mufumbwe District at Kalengwa mine belonging to Shawi Fawazi.
Copperbelt Police Commissioner Joyce Kasosa has confirmed has confirmed that the grader that was stolen in Kalulushi district was yesterday recovered and is currently parked at Mufumbwe Police Post.
Speaking in an interview Ms Kasosa said the Machine was recovered yesterday at Kalengwa mine in Mufumbwe.
Ms Kasosa however, could not give out more details as the case is still under investigations and that divulging further information could compromise the case.
Kalengwa mine belongs to Shawi Fawaz who is also the current Basketball Association of Zambia president.
The grader recently went missing in unclear circumstances in Kalulushi belonging to China Geo a company working on township roads in the same district.
And a source has disclosed that the grader was recovered after a joint operation involving police from Ndola led by police Superintendent Bwalya and local police men from Mufumbwe as well as head of security at the mine James Phiri.
The source further said the Machine arrived at the mine on the 18th April 2014.
The Machine is said to have disappeared from site recently and the district commissioner expressed concern over the disappearance of the machine and wondered how the district would develop if equipment was being stolen.
