Roan slide at Indeni

Indeni jumped out of the bottom four after coming from a goal down to thump Roan United 3-1 in Saturday’s FAZ Super League match at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe.

Striker Josphat Kasusu scored a hat-trick as Indeni condmned Roan to their second defeat in a row.

Roan made a false start in the lunch-time kick off match when striker Lyson Sikaonga gave them a 2nd minute lead that was cancelled by Kasusu two minutes later.

Kasusu registered his second goal just before the half time as Indeni went into the break leading 2-1.

The ex-Kalulushi Modern Stars forward completed his hattrick with a 72nd goal after he was set up by Congolese striker Kalombo Kanda.

This win pushed Indeni from 14th to 11th place on the 16-team Super League table.

The Ndola side now sits on 11 points from 12 games.

On the other hand, Roan drops from 12th to 13th on the table and remain stuck on nine points from 12 matches.
