City of Lusaka coach Fred Nasilele is adamant that his FAZ Division One South side is still in contention to win promotion back to the Super League.
The legendary club has gone into the mid-season break placed sixth on the table with 25 points from 17 matches.
City are 11 points behind Division One South leaders Lusaka Dynamos.
“We still have a chance to win promotion. The only difference with the teams on the top is 11 points which is about four games,” Nasilele said.
In the first half of the 2014 season, City have recorded six wins, seven draws and four defeats.
“We lost four games in the first round and we are meeting those teams that beat us so we can do the same to them. We want to get those 12 points we lost,” he added.
City were demoted from the elite league in 2010.
