Young guns hand Brave Nchanga victory

Young Guns Larry Bwaya and Patrick Musonda inspired Nchanga Rangers to a 2-0 home win over troubled Roan United at Nchanga Stadium in Chingola on Saturday.

It was a welcome win for Nchanga a week after they lost 3-1 to Nkana at the same venue.

Bwalya put Nchanga 1-0 ahead into the break before Musonda scored his debut goal for the club in his second match since joining them from Red Arrows last week.

Nchanga move one place up the table from 10th to 9th on 20 points after 16 games played.

Roan stayed second from bottom in coach Dean Mwiinde’s first game in charge.

And up the road at Konkola Stadium in Chililabombwe, bottom placed Konkola Mine Police lost 1-0 at home to Green Buffaloes 1

Percy Bilyoti 15th minute goal handed 10th placed Buffaloes their first win after picking up one point on their last two matches.
