Zambia U17 beat Botswana

Zambia Under-17 team beat Botswana 1-0 this afternoon in a 2015 CAF Under-17 Cup qualifier at Sunset Stadium in Lusaka.

The first half ended scoreless in a period had Patson Daka and Pumulo Siwanga not wasted chances.

The deadlock was broken in the 53rd minute through Enock Mwepu.

The final leg is set for August 2 in Gaborone with the winner advancing to the final qualifying round in September to fave winner of the Uganda versus Rwanda tie for a place at next years finals in Niger.

  1. 2-0 would have been much more secure. Botswana can easily overturn this so work very very hard. Iam actually watching Zambian football everyday on SS9 and must say the standard has gone a notch up. Those National assembly Boys play good soccer. So the U-17 should not embarrass us with being knocked out by Botswana.
