Defender Nyambe Mulenga has defied his recall to Zesco United and has continued to train at Power Dynamos.
Zesco today recalled Nyambe halfway through his season-long to Power after initially rejecting him from their plans for the 2014 season at the start of 2014.
Nyambe rebounded at Power with impressive fashion over the last 17 games for the third placed side.
Injuries and inconsistent performances in defence at Zesco have forced the second placed club from Ndola to recall Nyambe.
But it was business as usual for Nyambe at Power on Friday where he has continued to train with his adopted club mates at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe.
However, Power’s technical bench refused to discuss his presence saying it was an administrative issue.
Meanwhile, Power secretary Ricky Mamfunda said he was aware that Nyambe was still at Arthur Davies.
“That clause is there in the contract where they (Zesco) reserve the right to recall the player,” Mamfunda said and declining to go beyond that.
Mamfunda added that despite Nyambe’s presence at Power, he is ineligible to play in Saturday’s FAZ Super Division game away to Konkola Mine Police.
Zesco you are just confussing the man. It seems he happy at power leave. Have never seen a player being recalled from a loan half wayvthecservice. Did faz approve that loan document then they also dont know they are doiung.
The best is to leave Nyambe Mulenga at Power Dynamos.
Nyambe Mulenga should respect the terms and conditions on which he was off loaded at Zesco.we have seen players loaned to other clubs and later recalled at their respective clubs.
