Patrice Beaumelle has reportedly left his post as Zambia coach.
Unconfirmed reports say Beaumelle will move Abidjan to join his mentor Herve Renard as deputy with the Cote d’Ivoire national team.
Renard was appointed Cote d’Ivoire coach last Thursday.
Sources familiar with the development say Beaumelle has been offered a two-year deal and is expected to be unveiled as number two on Tuesday.
Beaumelle has been in charge of Zambia since October, 2013 after Renard took up the job at demoted French club Sochaux.
The Frenchman has been in charge of 11 matches with Zambia, winning and losing five with one draw.
These two chaps wont last in Ivory Coast as they are failures. I 100% believe that our victory in 2013 Africa cup was purely the doing of the Lord Almighty.
God does not take sides in football…don’t Ivorians pray to god? Stop this gibberish, I believe the word you are looking for pure luck.
Good riddance. We need a qualified coach. But knowing FAZ, they will bring useless nonentities again.
Are those two in a relationship, the P.E teacher and his assistant.
This is worse year for Zambia, everybody is leaving:
KLM is leaving
Beaumulle is leaving
Kambwili also told the Ethiopians not ever to come back to Zambia
Sata is nowhere to be seen, same as he left
… We thought August will better than the nightmare we experienced in July when Sata, left.
@nonsense damus The brumell boy’s departure was long over due,i personally wish him well he was below average yet being paid alot,we now should make a meaningful plan in this department.the KLM is restructuring flying pattern even Zimbabwe is AFFECTED its not about Zambia, don’t always want to be negative towards your own country.
You can’t blame him, why stay in a ship that’s going nowhere? The buzz in Zambia has been fizzled out. We need change fast to restore this countries pride otherwise we risk everything. Zambians take too long to fix things just like the analysis on our style of football. Warning signs for those who keep cheering aimlessly. We are heading for doom unless we change our ways.
I also firmly believe that Zambia’s win of the AFCON 2012 wasn’t the works of Renard… I believe that team was built by Dario Bonetti. If you look at the qualifiers for AFCON 2012, we qualified with an impressive record. There was no way such a qualifying performance would have ended disastrously in Gabon. Renard barely qualified to AFCON 2013…thru a penalty against Uganda. We failed to win a single game at AFCON 2013. The World Cup 2014 qualifiers were equally a mess. Despite being handed free THREE POINTS against Sudan, we successfully failed to defend that lead… to Renard and Beamualle, we can only wish you the best… Enjoy your stay in Corte D’voire. The Chipolopolo wll move on as we have done before.
Are you kidding me? Did you watch AFCON in ANGOLA? Who was in charge? You really want to know? Everything started with Kalusha. He built the team. If you consider Bonetti a great coach, how many national team did he coach since he left Zambia? Get your facts right…
Well, well, well lets see what the Zombies and the gullible Kalu bootlickers are going to post today…..really laughable indeed LT do not hold back on the other details attached to the Assistant PE tutors departure.
Hello Jay Jay,
We were waiting for you, this is your story. CONGRATULATIONS. I just wonder if you now be interested in Ivory coast, because that’s where your prey are running to.
Beaumelle was a poor chancer. Any ambitious coach wants to suceed as coach-not assitant. He can see that he wont succeed with Zed so it is safer to work under Master Renard
Then its says a lot about how he thinks of his employers FAZ….leave the young boy alone today I will defend him…let’s not use him as a scapegoat whilst forgetting about the ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM.
@N. from South Africa, I told your mother not to tell you my name, it was agreement before your birth. Tell your mother I miss her a lot.
The boy says he hasn’t been paid by the Great King for 6 months, is it not Ministry of Sport that pays these guys either the money has not been reaching him.
How can he not be paid when FAZ was paid handsomely for that Japanese friendly in the US…I have been stating for years that Zambia’s football problems start at the head the corrupt incompetent president of FAZ and his corrupt colleagues. This boy SHOULDN’T have been in the position in the first place alias he has spat in your sleepy faces and opted to go back to being an assistant as he knows his place.
What are you going to say now DID I NOT tell you ZOMBIES??
Waking up time!!
jay jay your ”voice” sounds like simata. Just wondering …! Forgive for being trivial anyway.
LOCAL MANAGER: Shameful for Renard to behave like that. But who did not know that Renard was never committed to Zambia? He’s dumped Zambia twice; and even poached a coach from Zambia. What more evidence does FAZ require? Engage a Zambian coach!
Was your FAZ even paying him…you should be asking the right questions!!
No manager would be foolish enough to work under such employers maybe yourself but no one either foreign or local would work under such an utterly very corrupt greedy administration of Kalusha.
just bring back Kalu for a double tobela lol. kekekekekekeke
I think the guy has not been paid. I don’t think he can do that from a coach in zam,bia to assistant. Its either he has not been paid for many months or he knows there is no future for Zambia. but Zambia is not small. There must be something for his departure especially cash issues. then lol
This just confirms that there is absolutely nothing in Zambia. if such a coach with no experience can leave a country, what about doctors.
Poor Zambia wake up.
i think these two are gay. They are too close to each other for a long time.It cant just be professional relationship especially with the turn of events. Just connect the strings people from the time before renard came to Zambia for the first assignment which he botched.
Good riddance, lets try a local coach.
The team we see today was brought up and built by Kalusha Bwalya. He deserves to be honoured.
For Herve Renard and Beumeal… You guys you are great for bringing the cup to Zambia but one thing I hate about you, you are not dependable, you can leave anytime you feel like.
In Ivory Coast, you will not last long because Zambia is much better than Ivory Coast.
you will miss zambia, believe me you.
At the moment, NO ONE CAN COACH FROM ZAMBIA. THEY HAVE FELT.PLEASE BA FAZ DONT ENGARGE THEM AS AT NOW.PLEASE
Thankyou
Get God out of football
In the first place PB is not a coach let him go. local coach!? am sorry not this time, the zambia vs cameroon is still fresh in our minds, we lack tactics and we dont pick players on merit. And please spare kalu if you don know football try our rotten politics.
I’m finally happy Baumelle & Renard are away, not because they were bad, BUT because “Some Zambian’s” forever made them SCAPEGOAT’S, of our poor form, despite them helping secure the AFCON, that had eluded us for Years!
The reality is we currently DON’T have quality players, like Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Ghana, but Renard & Baumelle always got Bile thrown in their direction, from the likes of Brother Jay Jay, who I agree with on most issues, but NEVER Soccer.
Now that Baumelle/ Renard Don’t feature in Zambian football, we will see if Zambia will progress as a Footballing Nation, which I seriously doubt, as we DON’T have the Talent we had when Ucar, Kalusha played.
I will salute brother Jay Jay if I’m wrong!
Look @ our Commonwealth games position, 3rd from bottom &…
Cont;
3rd from bottom & pathetic.
Am flabbergasted and disappointed that nearly 50 years after independence inferiority complex is still entrenched in the Zambian psyche. A foreign coach ,no matter how mediocre is preferd to a local. We can be brain surgeons, architects, accountants, engineers etc yet when it comes to football we still rely on third rate foreigners! Surely the time is ovedue for the powers that be to train Zambians as coaches. The grass is not always greener in other lands.
