Ruling Patriotic Front (PF) Zambezi West campaign manager Wilbur Simuusa says withdrawal of Wynter Kabimba from the Sept 11th by-election campaigns following his dismissal as PF Secretary General and Justice Minister will not affect the ruling party’s performance in the forthcoming five by-elections.
Mr. Simuusa says this is because the PF campaign teams have been campaigning very well even before Mr. Kabimba joined the campaigns.
Mr. Simuusa says the campaigns are also being beefed up by Vice President Dr. Guy Scott who has also successfully led a two days campaign trail in Zambezi West to drum up support for PF candidate Christabel Ngimbu.
And Dr. Scott has described as exciting his 2 days campaign trail in Zambezi West which started on Thursday this week.
Dr. Scott says people of Zambezi West are also excited prospect of brining the constituency under the PF Member of Parliament.
Dr. Scott says he does see any reason for disappointment that the people of Zambezi West would vote differently.
He says the chances of the ruling PF in the by-election are good.
QFM’s Lazarous Sichula reports from Zambezi West that both the Vice President and Mr. Simuusa were speaking to journalists shortly after the conclusion of the two days campaign.
Kbimba’s dismissal is like vomit – you can’t scoop it up for re-ingestion no matter what.
The opposition we are so disappointing that Kabimba is fired, he made us stronger, but without him (MHSRIP) the PF is now stronger. Definitely the PF will win, because their cadres are so excited. And it will be the most peaceful by-election since 2006.
I hope the violence, abuse of PoA, infringement on personal liberties, lack of media freedom and the harassment of opposition political leaders will now end with Kabimba’s dismissal
It will definitely have an effect. Those that were close to kabimba have equally been injured and will leave the party.
Really? Leave the party and go where? I would like to see which party will accept Kabimba as a member. Maybe, just maybe, Nawakwi’s FDD? This guy has antagonized every single party in the country, including his own. so what makes you think any self-respecting opposition party would welcome him into their ranks. it’s like welcoming a dead person into your struggling company and convince yourself the dead person will improve production because he was just fired from a company that was itself struggling just to stay profitable!!
No one is a saint we keep on trying. Kabimba may fall short of Grace and stamina to using stand on. However, the same it was written in the bible about Evs and Adam or lucifer and God. Kabimba ‘ s external influence and propaganda machine of the post made him feel untouchable and big headed to forget that his appointment was on the mercy of President Sata. Many times people have wondered why President Sata always keep quite as if he does not know what is happening? The answer is as a president you operate differently from the opposition leader or party president. You let your ministers operate freely but they have to remember the oppointing authority and the boundaries not cross. Generally Kabimba is intelligent but was power hungry and lost the qualities and values of a leader.
Those who are affected by Kabimba sack will leave. Belong to any organisation requires self belief and common values that the organisation offer. Kabwimbwili was appointed and as such he would have not been having corner meetings, frustrating those he felt were a threat to him. If kabimba is meant to rule this great nation he will. Immediately he he ganged up with the post, Mmembe, and other people it was clear he was playing with fire and has gone beyond the limit. It seems he was the president and no one was there for him to listen to

SATA even made 21 ministers to resign from mmd coz of third term lead by SATA . Wasn’t positioning himself before chiluba could know? Walk up Zambia ,in pf today who is vocal like winter? leaders can be identfied from childhood some children are followed becoz of money or material( not laders)but there some who are followed when they cant even afford a meal you even steal food and give them(good leaders). check yourselvs were you followed despite being poor or you were following?

PF may like it or not, firing of Kabimba is like scoring your own goal similar to chasing your own son of which the Bembas refer to, ‘your son an an axe, if mishandled it would axe you the handler.’ Kabimba was using tribe as a weapon against UPND which is the greated political force PF is currently facing. This strategy was hatched by the some section of media so that they can influence govt leadership indirectly to protect themselves. This is where it applies that politics is about numbers, for sure, lets assume that his followers are a small number, we must remember that even a small number is a number. We all know that those who joined PF through Kabimba are mostly politicians of the belly.

incident in China where a chef died as a result of been bitten by severed head of
a cobra. That was after he had already used the other part to prepare snake soup-
