Opposition Alliance for Better Zambia President, Frank Bwalya says there will be nothing wrong or unconstitutional if former republican President Rupiah Banda decides to run for President again.
Father Bwalya says Mr. Banda who has retired from active politics will have to however, forgo his benefits if he decides to return to active politics.
Father has told Qfm News that though he is neither encouraging nor discouraging Mr. Banda to make a political comeback, his party will respect Mr. Banda’s decision if he decides to return to active politics.
He says the former President still has the constitutional right to participate in the politics of the country, but that it will be up to the Zambian people to decide whether to vote him back into office if he decided vie for the presidency again or not.
And Father Bwalya says the participation of young people in the country politics does not hinge on the older generation to giving way.
He says young people should not think that they can only participate in politics when the older generation steps aside.
Fr Bwalya gives an example of himself as one of the young politicians who is participating in the country’s politics despite the presence of the older generation on the political scene.
MMD and RB were rejected, lets not be like a dog that goes back to it’s vomit. RB spent his life touring the world while his children ran the country for him. He only returned to active duty three months before elections with a sustained cosmetic development program that failed to convince the masses. People must learn not to forget so easily. Currently we are stuck with the most clueless govt on earth, PF. Our immediate concern is to get rid of this mistake we elected and replace it with a sober and responsible govt.
There is nothing this Bwalya thing won’t support.

Zambians, for once let us stop this habit of looking back at what was. This is why we have been laundering the same leaders under different party names who are now too tired to move us forward. Leave RB alone. My hope is that even if he decides to come back in the spirit of democratic dispensation, we reject him overwhelmingly. It is time to truly move forward FOR ONCE IN OUR FCUKING LIVES!
Of all the things Why should we be going back? Mr banda had a chance to lead this nation and his contibutions (if any?)Were exhausted. So why think of him we need to be forging ahead.
Mr Rupiah Banda is tooooooooooooooooooo old to run as president and too old to think straight.

MHSRIP. what will RB do differently on his return? wasn’t he supposed to finish levy’s term of office and leave. he decided to stay on and see what happened to MMD. People pushed for Mutati F., had that man Bwezani listened, MMD was still going to be in power with Felix Mutati as president not baMumba. Please BaR&B just enjoy your retirement and let us mourn our loss of power. We don’t need you back.
