Following the passing on yesterday of His Excellency the President of the Republic of Zambia Mr Michael Chilufya Sata at London’s King Edward VII Hospital in the United Kingdom where he had been receiving medical attention, I wish to advise members of the general public outside Lusaka not to travel to Lusaka for the funeral until Government has given guidance on the funeral and burial arrangements of our departed President.
Dr Roland Msiska
SECRETARY TO CABINET
29th October, 2014
Indeed can you confirm that it shall be 2 months National mourning if it is true
My sources say this will be announced in the morning IF it is true that Mr Sata has surprisingly died
Thanks
‘IF it is true that Mr Sata has surprisingly died’? Or maybe you think you’re just having a bad dream. Supposing you try to cut off your little finger, maybe you might wake up and find that ……………. IT IS TRUE!
Yaba Mushota please… you make jokes even where you are not supposed joke. So irritating. Akamuntu aka yaa…
Whatever this imbecile nonentity “Mushota” comments make me feel dizzy. For once be real with yourself
Don’t people have things to do that they should immediately travel before the late’s body has arrived… Be productive Zambia please….
It is time to celebrate freedom. So nice God at last has delivered Zambians to the land of freedom. If anyone spends money on this, they will be made to pay it back and go to jail. Hallelluyah!!!
yaba!! i hope its not the levy routine of all provinces tour, but even it is HH is too civilised to embark
on a marathon tour like ba mudala did pali levy.
@mushota you would have the country come to a standstill for the shortest serving president for a man who died ‘untimely’! My foot and wishful thinking! Absolute nonsense! No body viewing, no history of illness or cause of death, family forest enjoying benefits for a further 2 month, continued public resources looting? Awe tamunaka!
Gents as much as i had different views with the Sata Government let’s be African and respect death of our President, to some of you Sata was just a President to some he was a father,an uncle, a brother,a husband and a loved relative, he was not perfect so are you so let’s mourn our President with respect and let us not forget our African culture and start making silly comments on LT just because you can, you are whole behaving the same like childish Mushota grow up.
