Zambia have qualified to the semifinals Cosafa U20 Cup with a game to spare after beating Namibia on Monday afternoon in Bulawayo.
A first half brace from midfielder Kasashi Lupiya handed Zambia a 2-0 win over Namibia to see them stay top of Group B on maximum six points from two games to seal their place in the semifinals.
Kasashi struck in the 4th and 13th minute to hand Zambia the three points in their penultimate Group B match.
Patrick Ngoma could have added a third goal in the 55th minute but his attempt to chip the ball over Donovan Gainub was telegraphed by the Namibia goalkeeper who flapped the ball out.
Zambia play Lesotho in their final match on Wednesday in Bulawayo to decide their final classification in Group B.
Zambia will in the December 12 semifinals face one of the top two finishers from Group A comprising of Malawi, Angola, Mozambique and hosts Zimbabwe.
