Sunzu misses Sochaux’s final game of 2014

Zambia captain Stopilla Sunzu will miss Sochaux’s final French Ligue 2 game in 2014 this evening.

The defender was not picked for the 4th placed clubs home game this evening against Angers who are three places below them on the table.

Sunzu has been on the road to recovery after sustaining a hamstring injury on November 7 when he limped off in Sochaux 2-1 home win over Ajaccio.

The defender is expected to lead Zambia at the 2015 Africa Cup in Equatorial Guinea that will run from January 17 to February 8.

Meanwhile, the French Ligue 2 will resume on January 9.
