    • Fantastic, yes the boy knows how to play soccer, he is clean. Just he will stop being polite, that is the only thing about him. He needs to start painting things in his hair.

    • More like a waste really given that their age is questionable..so by the time he does 2 seasons he will be tired and useless like Muyuka.

    • Pretoria news reports on what former Zambian coach Ted Dumitru says
Dismal displaY’s by Southern African sides-Zambia and South Africa-at the Africa Cup of nations point to an identity crisis experienced by both nations. Bafana Bafana and Chipolopolo crashed out of the continentAl show piece after failing to impose themselves at the finals currently under way in Equatorial Guinea. Bafana Bafana and Chipolopolo were unimpressive as they finished at the bottom of their groups with both not registering a single win. Renowned coach Ted Dumitru who has coached both teams before attributed the performances of both teams to their inability to play to their strengths. ” South Africans and Zambians have a lot of similarities because of the geographical location climate and so on. They are also

  1. They are also identical in terms of player profile if you look at individual skill, speed, coordination and overall talent.  Their performances show deficiency in identity”, said Dumitru. “Southern African players can cause problems to many teams if their characters are addressed.  Their characters- creativity,  speed, movement,  individual skill make a lot of teams from other parts of Africa to hate facing them”

Both Bafana,  1996 afcon champion and Chipolopolo,  winners in 2012 failed to win a single match at the biennial tournament. …

What raised stress levels in southern africa is that both teams played well with skill and agility but only to falter on finishing. There was not much difference between Zambia’s Rainford Kalaba and Bafana s Sibusiso Viva kami.  Their…

  2. There was not much difference between Zambia’s Rainford Kalaba and Bafana s Sibusiso Vilakazi .  Their defensive play also left a lot to be desired at times.

“Zambia are going through a difficult time.  The players have the skill and mobility like the previous Zambian teams but at some point they looked restricted.  They didn’t show or take initiative to finish after very good movements. When they won Afcon they were extremely fortunate in 2012. They didn’t win with identity” said Dumitru.

  3. Reflecting on when Zambia had identity: One of the moments that gave southern africa something to cheer about was when Zambian legend Kalusha Bwalya was named African footballer of the year in 1988. Dumitru says for Southern African football to rise to greater levels emphasis should be placed on developing individual players. Solutions are there but we have to abandon our old ways. But do we have the coaching staff to develop skilled footballers?

  4. You would wonder that with a former international footballer who played in Europe at his peak and South America made good money at the time as a FA president there would be proper policies for our clubs to get the best deals from there player when they are sold on and for these young Zambian players to get proper advice but not our Galu only thinks about his bank balance.
This is another Felix Katongo going to Libya or middle east story being written all over again.

  5. I AM HAPPY 4 MY LOVELY YOUNG BOY THIS BIG TO HIM, I SAW THING BIG COMING ON HIS WAY B4 AFCON.
“Ba Kalampa we send players far away not within SOUTHERN AFRICA (pa South or Zaire) awe”.

  6. This boy is over rated together with Evans Kangwa,Mukuka Mulenga etc. They have a long way to go to reach the levels of Kalaba and even a far long way to reach the levels of Mwitwa,Kalusha, charles Musonda,Ucar,Peter Kaumba,Alex Chola,Jackie Chanda etc. This is what a Zambian player must aim to achieve or its just mediocrity like what they displayed at AFCON 2015.The boys could not complete a pass!!Unbelievable!!I have been watching Zambian football since the seventies but what i saw this year was the worst i have seen of Zambia.I mean rock bottom, coz not even Zambia C or Zambia schools of yesteryears can play like!I pray that Sate Sate learns soccer were he has gone. Please train harder to improve and perfect your skills.GOD BLESS ZAMBIA.
