  1. Billy Mwanza at 32 years ONLY is very young, please continue playing as coach player your legs are still useful for the slugish chipolopolo, bILLY IS SO STRONG IN DEFENCE MORE THAN SUNZU

  2. I, 2007, remember Billy in AFCON qualifiers match for 2008 in Cape Town SA when he marked out one player by the name Benny McCarthy. At 32 truly he has some remains of football in his kegs. Assuming that this is his true age!!!

  3. 32 plus still young to retire. roger milla played at the 1994 world cup at the age of 42 or 42 plus in football language .Zambian players luck discipline next is katong

  4. Billy Mwanaza in nkote tenze ku punzila nayee uyo. The chap ran from school ati I want to be a professional player in Portugal because my other schoolmate Chanda Bwalya had just been signed up by a Portuguese club. Our teacher, Mr Songolo told him: Billy, football is a short career, back it up with education. Ba Billy ati iwe Songolo yenda uko. I followed Mr. Songolo’s advice and Billy followed his path. Today he’s a retiree at 37(his immediate young sister Langiwe my former classmate was born in 1980) and I’ve just finished my doctorate in Europe and clinched a proper job paying me tonnes of dollar. My career still has 40 more years. Ba Billy, your retirement is the beginning of proper poverty pa zed. Especially uko ku copperbelt. Mukose ba Billy

    • Ba Jo, your friend is know by everyone in Zambia, even kids in chimpombwa call themselves “Billy”. Even when he dies, he will be in newspapers. But you and your advice from Mr Songolo has only earned name called Jo…
Mwandi Billy Mwanza you might end up Zambian.

  5. Biiiiily!!!! Thr crowd would roar…He is 38 years. I hope that he has done a lot of serving mwandi…Pali kuchiliza apa

  6. AGE CHEATING IS RIFE IN ZAMBIA MY FRIENDS BUT WE JUST CHEAT OURSELVES. IN THE CURRENT UNDER 17 COMPETING IN NIGER, WE HAVE PLAYERS LIKE PATSON DAKA WHO COMPLITED IN 2012 BUT HE IS STILL UNDER 17. THE QUESTION IS HE COMPLITED GRADE 12 IN 2012 SO HOW OLD WAS HE? IT MEANS IN 2012 HE WAS UNDER 15 AND SO AT WHAT AGE DID HE START SCHOOL? AT 3 YEARS IN ZAMBIA? IMWE BANTU. EVEN MBOLA, HE COMPLITED IN 2006 BUT IS STILL 21 YEARS OLD. SURELY THAT IS 8 YEARS AGO AND IT MEANS HE COMPLITED WHEN HE WAS 13 YEARS OLD, MEANING HE ENROLLED IN GRADE 1 WHEN HE WAS 2 YEARS OLD, IS IT POSSIBLE? FOOTBALLERS ALWAYS CHEAT ON AGE, MOST OF THEM ARE OLD AND IN MANY CASES ADD 6-7 YEARS TO THE AGES THEY MENTION. NO WONDER MOST OF THEM DONT LAST LONG. CHIBA. LSK.

  7. @Nostradumus you’re such a very dull chap. I suspect you’re one of these PF cadres hiding behind this site. Look, what would you rather be: A broke and desperate Billy known to YOUR whole world, including kids in compounds, who when he dies as you put it will still remain ONLY on newspaper ink or a Mr. Songolo? By the way, Mr. Songolo in now a teacher at Boabab college in Lusaka, one of the highest paying schools in Zambia. I doubt if you’ve ever heard of Baobab College. But anyway, you Pabwato cadres never cease to amaze, you would rather run naked in the streets supporting a drunk than make your own living. Bin Laden was known to the whole world and his name is still in the newspapers, so what?
