Janza welcomes Rwanda friendly

Chipolopolo coach Honour Janza has welcomed this month-end’s friendly match against Rwanda to be played in Lusaka.

FAZ on Thursday announced that Rwanda will visit Zambia on 29th March in Lusaka on a FIFA date.

This will be Zambia’s first match after a disappointing 2015 Africa Cup outing in Equatorial Guinea where the team failed to win a single match.

“This is a good idea. It is important to play a lot of friendlies before qualifiers starts,” Janza said.

He is not bothered with the calibre of the East African nation.

“It is not mostly about the country we are playing against but it is important that we play friendlies on every FIFA date,”Janza said.

This will be the first time Zambia and Rwanda will facing off since 2009
