Bornwell Mwape in for Rwanda friendly

South Africa based robust striker Bornwell Mwape has joined the Chipolopolo squad in Lusaka ahead of Sunday’s friendly against Rwanda set for National Heroes Stadium.

FAZ has confirmed that Mwape of AmaZulu joined Honour Janza’s team on Monday evening.

He is the first foreign based player to join local payers who entered camp on Sunday.

Other foreign based players called for the Rwanda friendly are Captain Rainford Kalaba, striker Given Singuluma and defender Kabaso Chongo all from TP Mazembe and Aaron Katebe of FC Platinum in Zimbabwe.

  1. This is a FIFA Calender. While our friends like Ghana have lined up serious friendlies against Senegal and Mali, yet Zambia picks on Rwanda and when it come to AFCON the you wonder why you always exit in the first round.

    If you are playing Rwanda just to climb on the FIFA Rankings, we shall understand and not for preperations of future assignments
