NAREP’s Elias Chipimo makes a presentation during the presidential debate

National Restoration Party (NAREP) President Elias Chipimo Junior says corruption concerns raised by Rainbow Party President Wynter Kabimba that Zambia loses millions of dollars in oil procurement should be takChipimo 1en seriously.

Mr. Chipimo says such concerns are very genuine and should not be ignored.

He notes that Zambia faces a prospect of having another fuel shortage in the country if corruption allegations in the procurement of oil are not addressed now.

Meanwhile, Mr. Chipimo says the report of the Energy Regulation Board (ERB) commission of inquiry appointed by late President Michael Sata on the procurement oil should also be availed to President Edgar Lungu to help understand what went wrong during the supply of fuel.

  1. Its true all well meaning Zambians should take interest in what my President Wynter Kabimba has said on the oil procurement because that’s where we have a lot of cartels and in the end billions of kwacha are lost through selfish individuals.

    • Just Ask your president, in fact he should be questioned by the authorities again. Have the case re opened. This time Sata is not around to save him.

    • Summer taletobela that is why he is opening his mouth like a hippo. He never used to say a word about this subject when he was lining his pocket with tax payers cash through his dodgy companies like trafigura and ilunda chalo.

  2. Kabimba is not serious though his sentiments should be accorded an ear. He had an opportunity to sort this mess but instead caved a pipe for himself using Trafigura and the submissions he received. He should be charged for concealing the truth instead being sympathized with

  3. What Kabimba said is true except he doesn’t want to mention the people involved as he is deep in it himself!!! But not all hope is lost as the President has already ordered an investigation into what caused the recent shortage. I just hope he will have the courage to take action once he is told who the culprits are as they may be very powerful people!!!!

  4. Could it be the reason why the PF cartel was quick to hound out Kabimba from their party because he knew a lot of these deals. They were so intimidated by his presence to the extent that they quickly organised coffins and got him out of the party.

When you hear and see Mmembe being so rude in court just know that they know something and Kabimba must have a lot of information he is sharing with Mmembe. Just wait as we approach the election period.

EL must be very careful with these guys especially over the meetings he has been holding with RB. They have a lot of information about him EL over the meeting he has been holding with RB. Ask chikwanda.

  5. Okay, so simply because he is in opposition his hands are clean? Chipimo, first focus on beating Eric Chanda’s votes.

  6. ONLY AN ILL-MINDED LEADER CAN IGNORE SUCH INSIGHT. ZAMBIA IS A STARVING COUNTRY TODAY BECAUSE OF THE EVERYDAY CORRUPTION AND LOOTING GOING ON IN EVERY CORNER AND SECTOR OF THE COUNTRY AND ECONOMY RESPECTIVELY, AND AT EVERY LEVEL OF MANAGEMENT. NOW THE COUNTRY’S ECONOMY IS CHOCKING, IT IS SUFFOCATING. GENTLEMEN, YOU LEADERS, WHY ARE YOU KILLING OUR COUNTRY AS IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER COUNTRY WHICH YOU CAN RUN TO, OR AS IF TODAY YOU ARE DYING. PLEASE BE SYMPATHETIC TO MILLIONS OF VULNERABLE ZAMBIANS.

  7. Kabimba creating another smoke screen to deflect attention (from himself) and buying more time (for himself).

He is hoping that by the time the axe is wielded above his head, the political climate would have shifted. Or even better (for him), he would be president.

I think it is common knowledge that he himself is not clean. Why is it that its always thieves that point fingers at other thieves?

Anyone with half a brain would not entertain Kabimba.

But then again, there are folks in zed with half a brain, quarter brain, and no brain. Otherwise the current leadership would not be in power.

Your brains may have been halved not to see what Wynter is talking about. If indeed Wynter was not clean Edgar would not have spared him going by the rate at which he handling his perceived enemies.

He would already have unleashed bricks and crushed him if there was anything wrong Wynter had done. He is one of their number one enemies except chama’s fishing lies that Whynter left the PF coffers empt.

  9. Iwe KAVUYI to everything there is time my friend ! Time for Mmembe, Kabimba, nchitos etc , is very up, Zambians don’t care anymore what secrets they may have about anyone anymore. They are not clean themselves actually they are very stinking dirty, the seed must die’. Ala Elsa talala. Fili uko tuleya. Let them ululaa.

  10. Go to Luanshya and see the mansions inside the former ZCCM golf ground. Does it warrant an investigation? Yes it does ….

  11. One Oil refinery is not enough for Zambia. The country needs a backup Oil Refinery through PPP or total private sector. Second, the reservoirs launched by PF are under way. These need to be completed at rocket speed. Any human system can fail. A train can come late. A plane can crash. Electricity can be interruoted by wheather conditions, etc. The Honourable Minister of energy need support in overcoming such challenges.
