LAST year he released Five Star, which earned him a nomination in the Best Dancehall Album category at this years  Zambian Music Awards (ZMAs).
More recently, dancehall artiste, General Ozzy has been busy recording songs to feature on an upcoming Extended Play (EP) .
Ozzy shared with the Weekend Mail that the EP would carry about eight songs that his fans can sample while he works on a full studio album.
“The EP is something I have been planning for a while because wherever I go to perform, there has been a cry from my fans for an album,” Ozzy said.
He saw no reason to keep his fans waiting and so decided to give them a taste of what is yet to come.

Ozzy has promised that in 2016, he will deliver another full length album for his fans.
The dancehall artiste has collaborated with different artistes from across Africa on his EP project. Ugandan artiste, Maro is just one he is featuring on the project.
Other artistes are the Ugandan duo, Radio and Weasel and a Ghanaian artiste named Knii Lante. Ozzy also collaborated with late artiste, Pjay.
Meanwhile, Ozzy has already given his fans a taste of his new music through the release, a fortnight ago, of his song called Census.
In the song, Ozzy describes a young man who is constantly being judged by his in-laws.
“It would appear they are visiting him out of goodwill but they really want to question his ways of running a home,” Ozzy shared.
He said the behaviour of the in-laws perplexes the young man and leads him to ask his wife why her parents are so critical of him and yet agreed to give her to him in marriage.
The song was produced by RnB artiste and fellow ZMA 2015 nominee, Roberto.
