Vice President Inonge Wina says President Edgar Lungu has not shown any discrimination in his Cabinet appointments.

Mrs Wina said that the appointment of women by President Lungu to higher positions in government was upon seeing that anyone credible and legible in the nation could contribute to national development.

The Vice President said this when she addressed a meeting in Mongu.

In her entourage was Education Minister Michael Kaingu, Community Development Mother and Child Health Minister Emerine Kabanshi and other senior government officials.

Mrs Wina told the gathering that her appointment to the position of Vice President was with the grace of God and an indication that if women were strong in their political parties they could also ascend to higher positions like men.

She also conveyed a message of thanks from President Lungu to the people of Western Province who voted for the PF and Edgar Lungu in the January 20, 2015 by-election.

And Education Minister Michael Kaingu has warned civil servants to desist from engaging in active politics citing teachers as the major culprits.

Dr Kaingu said under the Patriotic Front government he has the power to dismiss workers in his Ministry who were actively involved in politics.

  1. Boma Inonge,

    Just continue bootlegging visionless Lungu!

Now, the economy & kwacha are rotting at the helm of PF. Please get to work & sort out the economic downturn & decaying kwacha.

Last week visionless Lungu got a $800 million debt or rather Kaloba or Sikoloti from China to “seduce” the gullible cadres to vote for visionless PF.

Wake up now Bo Inonge, shake Ba Lungu up, a walking stick is not far too!

    • Foolish UPND chaps when are you going to reform? Wake up you are making Hichilema more hated because of foolish comments.

    • The Kwacha which was trading at 0.68 to the Rand as of last week is now at 0.62, at the rate the Kwacha is gaining strength it will soon be back to 0.55 the rate it was at before the elections.
ECL is working whether you haters like it or not
2016 it will be kolopa for the fifth time.

  2. Inonge thinks er are stup!d. Just because she has been appointed and that bush pig kaingu. Just enjoy that ka seat and stop talking nonsense. We know how selective lungu and pf are. And u r agreeing with them, sis!! This is nauseating.

    • What is nauseating is failure by you not contributing anything to the development of the nation. Insults will never usher into power yo prefered candidate but Wil just make him hated by the people always because of your careless talk. I wish you the best as yu come back to yo right senses.

  3. PF needs to weed out sata’s family forest and the economy will start to perform: since a few were dropped the economy is beginning to look up. Get right guys at BOZ and Finance – remove sata’s dead wood. Do the same for other key line ministries. we need caliber with capacity to move this economy.
