Zambia recorded their first victory over Malawi since 2006 with a 2-0 result.
Defenders Christopher Munthali and Kondwani Mtonga handed coach Honour Janza victory with headed efforts in the 23rd and 34th minute to give the Chipolopolo ahead of the 2015 Cosafa Castle Cup.
Munthali headed home in the 23rd minute from a Rainford Kalaba cross to set Zambia on their way to victory.
International Kondwani Mtonga wound up the business with another headed effort to give Janza victory.
Zambia had not beaten Malawi since their victory in the Cosafa Castle Cup in the 2006 tournament Zambia hosted.
Next it will be Germany to be beaten by Zambia National Football Team. Yes yes ba Zambia.
Who will be the coach by then?
Congrats copper bullets boys. Next time play big names in football
Zambia playing games against Sunday league pub teams…surely the Great Galu can not organise proper opposition to play friendlies with five years after winning AFCON still the same rubbish…training is still substandard when others are using heart monitors and GPS vests in training and on modern training pitches we are still stuck in the past under these corrupt greedy mosquitoes in the name of Galu. This is utterly disgraceful.
Wake up Zombies from docility!!
I don’t know what Kalu did to you hahahaha. It seems every thing football related you see Kalu. We all know he is not right for football but you take it to space with criticizing him.
Viva President Nawakwi.
@Jay Jay, Kalu is not a PF, and that is why he will never get money to hire a sensational coach. Kalu fits in the RB’s MMD, crooked life.
Janza looks like a PF but talks like UPND, too professional, I don’t like that. You can’t be a super house team if you only get 1 yellow card in 10 matches, and most of them ni Sinkala umwaiche. I don’t even remember a red card in Chipolopolo under Janza…. need be more aggressive.
Okay, but 2 more goals would have made my day considering that it’s Malawi.
@Jonjo somebody called Kalu was not at the match!
Sometimes we should learn to appreciate, the boys did the to entertain us today. Viva chipolopolo viva Zambia
Yes, you see this is what happens when standards are lowered even when win 10-0 against a secondary school team..it should be appreciated!!
meant the best.
@jay jay, point one fingure at Kalu, you call him Galu and there you go three fingures at you as a Galu three scores. Ukukulila mukomboni so kubwaice even yo mom would call u iwe we chibwa chi Jay jay…
