Council of Churches in Zambia mourns Charleston church shooting victims

The Council of Churches in Zambia joins the world in mourning the loss of nine precious people of God who met their gruesome end by the hand of a gun man who obviously is a deranged man in the United States at an African-American church in Charleston, South Carolina.

The AME Church is a member church of our Council here in Zambia and we feel their pain and their sadness at such a wanton loss.

All the 23 other member churches sent their heartfelt condolences to the immediate families of the deceased and also to the wider family of the worldwide church of the AME Church.

May God help the families to remain strong and not to give up praying, trusting and believing God’s infinite wisdom to see them through this difficult time.

What about our thousands of brethren who have had their throats cut in iraq by muslims what message was sent by Council of Churches in Zambia?

  Their God was right there with arms open wide welcoming them into the eternal place He has prepared for them. You can clearly see how their God was with them and their families even now.Only someone who knows God can tell the killer who murdered their loved ones that they are forgiven.

I also join them in mourning for those saints who have gone to glory, how and what a way they can go though that vagabond meant evil . But they now in glory.
