That war is over – well done to the veterans and their counterparts. The current war in Zambia is against poverty, load shedding, unemployment, leaders without vision, crippling debt, revival of the economy that has fallen flat on its face and the world’s worst performing currency, currently and in the world’s history. To win this war Zambians must wake up and choose their leaders responsibly. We can’t have a repeat of the January 2015 poll where the winner had clearly said he had no clue about how to run the office into which he was voted.
Pic# 21: CORRECTION, there are no girl guides in that picture, they are all Scouts. The Zambian Scouts Association is one of the Scouts Associations in the world admitting girls as members. The Girl Guides Movement is a different organisation, although in other countries the two have been merged to form one, but in Zambia, the two operate separately and independent of each other.
Picture 16. The President “ate” the remberance day. Whaaa!
…..The World’s worst performing currency currently and THE WORLD’s History. Mr Suntwe where do you get your statics? I am not happy with the current situation in our country BUT COMMENTING WITHOUT WISDOM just shows how very little informed some Zambians are. Comparing our current situation to THE WORST IN WORLD HISTORY makes one wonder whether you do really follow Global Current Affairs. Let us comment, but let us also be professional and of a sound mind. Everyone wants things to improve in Zambia but how helpful are comments like yours? Who does not know that things are bad in Zambia, but your comments go overboard and exaggerated. Read World History Economic Crisis and then comment wisely
Adage, enlighten us. Which currency has performed worse than the ZKW this year?
To those who laid down their lives and paid the ultimate price for our freedom/ free speech, I say R.I.P.
To those on this site who will try to score political brownie points from these events, I say hold your heads in shame.
….the WWII..was about stopping the Germans colonising another notorious colonizer- Britain…Africans were just used as sacrificial frontier…rake party…most were not even qualified or trained soldiers …the only qualification was physical nature of some-one…some were only issued with shot batons instead of guns…. front liners were just used to reveal German soldiers positions as they fire on the ill equipped frontiers and in a hope that the Germans would run out of ammunition by the time real British soldiers engaged in the battle…no real account of the number of African ‘soldiers’ killed has been recorded….for some reason, Africans have been obscured to commemorate abolition of slave trade which transpired for over four centuries…human atrocities perpetuated by another…
..cont’d
….by another human….for me, bamposamabwe during the liberation of our country must be saluted the same if not more than this occasion….
WTF is Remembrance Day? Come on people let us use proper names to describe these events. This is Veterans Day.

Pic. 26 Senior defence staff seem to be competing for “pot-belly of the year” award.
@Mukame and Adage, the World’s worst performing currency this year and in history has been the Vietnamese dong and not the Zambian Kwacha.
