Joseph Mulenga Chipimo – CEO & Founder of worklance.net had this to say

Mulenga said “ worklance.net is an online community that connects employers and freelancers. Our aim is on creating a global community for all types of freelancers and we also aim to provide the best skilled people in the world to our customers. Zambia is now facing a great crisis because it cannot produce its own products. Zambia has more imports than exports thus the economy can’t grow. We should be more productive in order to revamp the economy. To increase the productivity in zambia they must be an increase in entrepreneurship. To revamp this field worklance.net provides two things to help entrepreneurs. One skills, for an entrepreneur to succeed he needs great skilled people and we do that best we make an idea to a reality. Secondly, worklance.net will introduce another product called worklance school. Worklance school will help less skilled people to sharpen up there skills. We want to provide a great service and help our country develop. We believe in creativity and innovation. lets hear your views leave a comment bellow or share

  1. What a fallacy….this chap thinks IT will just take away all our problems. How does this relate to local products verses imports? Is this chap a ZCAS graduate

  2. thats true Mr Chipimo,we need to skill ourselves as zambian. On his first ever press comference our President Eadgar C.Lungu questioned us why we as a country should be importing bananas and potatoes when we ‘ve more than enough land at our disposal as compared to SA.The only reason is we are scared to invest in that direction because we do not ‘ve skill to give us courage to overcome challenge of facing an investment business loss.Thats why we zambian run to doing quick retail businesses which has a relatively small ratio of loss.Pliz lets get up and go into production before the chinese start producing food products for us..

  3. LT this is a mere recruitment agency website…these websites can even be run remotely; an English colleague has one in Austin, Texas and she lives in Britain. This website worklance is very basic and vague asking you to register before you see what is available projects, employers…does this young man know how important data is? I hope you are being paid for advertising this website…kudos to him though for letting you route traffic to his website.

    • jay jay i have bin on worklance… wht you are saying is not true. you can view projects without registering. and jay jay development is about ideas nt busy criticizing the young boy…….atleast he is doing something which can later on become big……he jst started 6months ago……dont kill the idea build it. Go Go joseph with your worklance.net the sky is the limit

    • @JC
A smart individual uses criticism as raw feedback especially if its about their work in ecommerce…last time I check this young man was in South Korea and you are also blogging from there; if you are close to the young man I suggest that pass the message and also look at other websites in your field and copy what you are not doing…do not seat there being defensive like a politician’s press aid. By the way I know about SEO Tools & Search Engine Optimization Software as I too had run and promoted a major retail website before.

    • @JC or Joseph Chipimo.
I suggest you look at Kickstarter, Crowdfunder,CrowdCube etc…and bounce some ideas from there..these websites are clear and concise about what they want and about themselves; with your website I’m clueless as to what its about whether it’s a crowdfunder or recruitment website. A brief link about the website or your company would help and one doesn’t need to scroll down to find out what it is the first page has to be self explanatory…people are not that patient.

  4. Should we clap for this mediocrity? Let’s not settle for low standards wonder small our country all manner of sub standard buildings, cars, malls, gyms, etc

  5. Sorry to break it to you young man but the site FAILED to rock my boat. Pretty boring at 1st glance, I really couldn’t get on with a 2nd. Fix your first impressions young man.
