The PF says it is overwhelmed with the support Republican President Edgar Lungu it is getting from the public.

PF Deputy Spokesperson Frank Bwalya said in a statement that President Lungu is humbled by the spontaneous outpouring of goodwill by the public .

Below is a statement from the PF.

PATRIOTIC FRONT
PRESS STATEMENT
JANUARY 19, 2016.

President Edgar Chagwa Lungu is humbled by the spontaneous outpouring of goodwill by Zambians for him.

President Lungu’s weekend engagement on the Copperbelt again showed people’s overwhelming goodwill for him as they lined up on roads and strategic roadside spots to catch a glimpse of the head of state and wave at him.

Against this background, our party wishes to commend all Zambians for showing our Republican President such goodwill and love. We are equally greatly touched to see how Zambians from all walks of life have continued to express goodwill towards our Jubilee President who has been nick-named ‘Mr Walk the Talk’ after fulfilling the promise to hand the people of Zambia a people driven constitution.

Therefore, we urge all Zambians to continue showing love to President Lungu and all leader in politics and public offices as a way of encouraging them to serve the people better.

Issued by PF Deputy Spokesperson
Frank Bwalya

  1. It’s time people like Frank Bwalya practised politics of issues. I am quite pleased with the tone of his statement above, no name calling. What has taken me aback however is his use of derogatory language towards HH and constantly referring to him as Mr Kalusa. Young politicians like Bwalya should be above petty politics, especially that he is man of collar. I understand ZWD have been referring to Frank as MR Devil, but leave it to God to deal with them. Yours Frank is to show the young men that politics can be a clean profession.

    • what is overwhelming us is the PF inconsistency. No vision, no plan. The only discernible difference PF has made is change the looks of Edgar…just see his before and after pictures( check on on ECZ website 2011 ballot paper)

    • Is this really what this PF Government is using MY tax money for?

To pay a salary to this stuupid clown to make iddiotic statements like this?

Those people came to see the useless clown that has dumped them into poverty. That is the truth of it. No way can Bwalya put a positive spin on it by trying to smooth talk us. It is a double insult.

First he steals our money and to add salt to the wound he thinks we are too stuupid and can be lied to AGAIN like this !

    • “…Copperbelt again showed people’s overwhelming goodwill for him as they lined up on roads and strategic roadside spots to catch a glimpse of the head of state…”
Sounds more like a final glimpse of him. More like conducting body-viewing. Edgar is gone and is never to return, come August 11th 2016! Aleisa, aleisa. Viva HH, Viva UPND!

  2. Whatever this guy smokes must be a very strong drug! With high unemployment (in many homes there is at least 2 employment ready youths who can’t get jobs); the kwacha is at its weakest, inflation has gone back to double digits, poverty is high, etc and this guy says Zambians are giving overwhelming support to the man who is causing misery? Wait and see what will happen in August!

  3. If bees in beehives know to protect the Queen Bee for their own posterity, and Ants know to keep in line to achieve a task, then Zambians must be the lowest life form on earth. Stop attacking your own gov’t until elections. There are urgent matters to deal with at hand.

    • Bees and aunts know no corruption, lawlessness, deceit and manipulation! They work honestly and genuinely for the common good! You can’t say the same for PF! As you know Corruption and lawlessness are at their highest under PF! PF has destroyed our country! We are angry!

    • I am sure there are a few rogue ones!! In any case allegations of corruption and wrong doing must be proved with evidence otherwise it’s just defamation. I have yet to see opposition allegations backed by evidence. We can’t be an ordered species if we harm each other.

  4. @p kazhila zambia is not the only country with unemployment.
(The statistics behind UK steel job losses
18 January 2016 Last updated at 20:44 GMT
More than 1,000 jobs are being cut at Tata Steel, the majority at the Port Talbot plant in south Wales.
It is just the latest in a line of job cuts in the UK steel industry.
Ministers say they are doing all they can to help, but they cannot control the price of steel.
John Moylkan has been looking at the figures.

    • Yes, but Obama had it rough at the peak of recession. In fact we are redeploying Miners to new opportunities but that is met with braying by opposition determined to win their argument that they lose all reasoning. Some cities in USA went Bankrupt, people sleeping in broken down homes in Detriot ‘ car city.’ We saw the documentaries.

    • You are a nut, who says Zambia is Port Talbot, or an enclave in Wales???

WE are Talking ABOUT THIEVING CLUELESS & VISIONLESS PamaFi!!!!!!

  5. Edgar Lungu reminds me of Zambia’s best Late President Chiluba and the last conversation l had with him before his death.
He shared his views about leadership (Presidency) how sensitive and complex a matter is. He further went to say leaders needs to be careful as they are responsible over people’s lives and shouldn’t risk or play with people’s lives. Any little mistake by a leader as the potential to destroy people’s lives. When you are a President you don’t sleep when everyone is asleep you are on the look out in all corners of the country to ensure that everyone is safe. Even when you are critised you require to be sobet minded because in most instances people don’t know what you know because of the
privileges that comes with the Presidency.

    • You are joking, right? He spent sleepless nights thinking how many more custom made suits and pairs of shoes he needed to acquire. Due to that, his children terrorised the country with their behavior. Dude, some things are best left alone.

  6. Kachemas, keep living in denial.Honourable Frank Bwalya is spot on,because wherever his Excellency ECL has been,he has been overwhelmingly received. This President u ve been calling names is a darling to many Zambians, hate him or like him people just love him very much.Ask us Lusaka residents, where he passes people line to get a glimpse of him.Come August, the same youths you assume hate him for joblessness will crown him president of Zambia again.ECL nafuti nafuti nafuti!!!!

    • There is definitely something wrong with your logic: why would a sane unemployed youth vote for the guy who has completely failed to create jobs? Why would a sane citizen whose living conditions have become worse vote for the same guy who is responsible for the increase in poverty? Is it politics without reasoning? Politics for the sake of it? Give us a break you cadres!

  7. Can someone please take this dog with rabies and shoot him?

I have never heard such childish rubbish coming from a grown up man in all my life! Does he even listen to himself?

Truly this pathetic effort to kiss backside is just too disgusting to watch. What kind of worm is this Bwalya? ?

  8. I remember in 1991, KK was being told by his comrades that he will win the election as he was very popular in the country…..
