Governance Activist Maurice Malambo has observed that President Lungu has responded positively to the social and economic challenges that have hit the nation.

Mr. Malambo feels that the Head of State has unreservedly performed well in his one year of being in office despite coming into office at the time the nation was going through challenging moments.

Mr. Malambo says as for the challenges in the mining sector, developed countries like Australia has suffered set backs as more than seven mines have been shut down while Zambia has managed to keep these mines running despite job losses.

He says in the energy sector, despite prolonged hours of load shedding, the nation is better than countries such as Tanzania which have shut down some of their power stations.

The Governance Activist has also counseled the opposition not to criticize everything done by the party in government but give credit where it is due.

And Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) has commended President Edgar Lungu for the commitment he has shown towards God.

EFZ Executive Director Pukuta Mwanza says the love president Lungu has demonstrated towards God and his people can attract a blessing for the country.

Rev. Mwanza says the head of state has shown that he understand that on his own, he cannot run the country but need to put God first and also respect God’s people and learn from them.

He says leaders in the country should learn from President Lungu’s humility and let God’s will prevail in the country and also in their lives.

Rev. Mwanza stresses that Zambia is headed for a break through if its leaders will continue to show love for God and allow him to lead.

    • What is there to comment about?

Two deluded fooools making statements that have no correlation to reality?

That Lungu has FAILED MISERABLY is clear and obvious to anyone with a trace of a brain. You only need to see the price of mealie meal for absolute proof of that

These praise singing sycophants obviously have some other agenda beside what is best for Zambia.

Maybe they are looking for jobs?

  1. Governance activist -my foot! Which cave has this guy come out from? At least bwana Pukuta Mwanza’s colors are known and what his group stands for is known and his praises of ECL can be put into context. But this “anon activist kuwayawaya fye – a job seeker??

  2. DAY DREAMING. JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN A SHARE OF THE LOOT BY LUNGU AND HIS MINIONS ON OUR TREASURY, THEN YOU GO OUT TO GIVE LUNGU EMPTY PRAISES. HOW CAN YOU PRAISE THIS HEARTLESS CHAKOLWA FOR STUPIDLY DISTURBING THE FUTURE OF THE NATION THRU UNCALLED FOR BRUTALITY ON OUR CHILDREN AND PREMATURE CLOSURES THE TWO STATE-RUN UNIVERSITIES. I URGE ALL UNZA AND CBU STUDENTS AND ALL OTHER ZAMBIANS TO FLUSH THIS DEADLY LUNGU OUT OF STATE HOUSE. PEOPLE SAY LUNGU IS A HUMBLE PRESIDENT, WHERE IS THE HUMILITY? LUNGU IS SIMPLY A SMOOTH CRIMINAL!

  3. Rev. Pukuta has the privilage of access to public platforms to express views that should inspire the nation. If indeed Pukuta is a preacher of the gospel of our Lord, he should be consistent with truth. Zambians know that almost every leader be in government or opposition has presented themselves as Christian. The weight is more on the leader in government to demonstrate that proclamation of Chritian beliefs to the nation.
However, in today’s Zambia plight of violence, corruption, intorerance and suffering under the watch of a current PF leader Edgar Lungu is far from being humble christian while criminality is being condoned by him. Rev Pukuta is being naive to prevaricate with christian ethos.

  4. His Excellency President Lungu is immaculate as a Leader. He needs more time to complete this positive period in Zambia.

One other thing you don’t hear from the ‘always’ complaining opposition is that the abusive language of their complaints in Print and Online Media is undisputed evidence of Guarantee of Freedom of Speech. Language here, online takes ones breath away by abusive language, and no one has been prosecuted!

  5. Try to use your free speech in the Post, the Daily or Times & see how you will sorted out. You are lucky here because you can afford to hide.
As for Mwanza, we remember how angry he was with MCS for leaving him out of the constitution technical committee. Now we know where his frusrations stemmed from. It was about his belly.
