Zambia on Monday launched its preliminary preparations for the 2016 Cosafa Cup after regrouping in Ndola.
Defending champions Namibia will host this year’s Cosafa Cup from June 11-25.
The team trained on Monday afternoon at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium under coach George Lwandamina.
By Monday afternoon all the summoned players had reported for camp except those from Zanaco who were in action.
“21 players have reported for camp. We are just waiting for those from Zanaco to join us this evening after their game in Mufulira,” acting team manager Stanley Kaseko said.
Zambia is seeking its fifth Cosafa Cup title.
