Zanaco and Power seek redemtion home wins

Zanaco host Nkwazi on Saturday at Sunset Stadium in Lusaka hoping to redeem themselves infront of their home fans after last weekends away loss at Forest Rangers.

That 1-0 away defeat at in-form Forest in Ndola was Zanaco’s first of the season and the 2015 runners-up were hitherto that loss the only unbeaten side remaining in the FAZ Super Division after 14 rounds of matches played.

Zanaco’s defeat also saw them miss an opportunty to go joint top of the table with Nkana but remain second nevertheless.

Victory on Saturday will see them join the pacesetters Nkana on top on 28 points who have not left the top spot since the start of the season on March 12.

Nkana only play on Sunday when they host defending champions Zesco United in the big Kopala derby at Wusakile in Kitwe.

Another team hoping to return to wnning ways is 5th placed Power Dynamos.

Power lost -0 away at Nakambala Leopards last Saturday to suffer their fifth league loss of the campaign and fail to topple Zesco from 3rd place.

Power host promoted Kabwe Warriors on Saturday in Kitwe whom they beat 3-1 in Kitwe and 3-2 away in 2014 en rounte to relegation for the Railwaymen that season.
