Share

Mumamba Numba has been handed interim charge of the beleaguered Zambia Under-17 national team.

Numba takes charge after from Oswald Mutapa who is suspended following the Zambia Under-17’s age cheating disqualification from the just-ended 2016 Cosafa Under-17 Cup in Mauritius.

This is Zanaco coach’s first national team appointment since he was promoted as head trainer at Sunset Stadium this season.

Numba’s first match will be this weekend when Zambia hosts Sudan in a 2017 CAF Under-17 Cup qualifier.

  1. The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has disbanded the U17 team constituted by Oswald Mutapa and named 30 new players to be drilled by Bruce Mwape…. Janza also announced that Nchanga Rangers coach Bruce Mwape will coach the team when they play Sudan on Sunday and he will be assisted by Zanaco coach Numba Mumamba. That is according to Zamfoot!!!

  2. Who should state the way forward technical director, General secretary, team manager or president? It seems its each one for himself. Tell the name what way forward you learned guys!!! What is the truth now? Who will be in charge of the team? Who is telling the nation the right information? Xaa!
