Today’s Message: Look Straight Ahead

bible
Today’s Scripture

“Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you.”
(Proverbs 4:25, NIV)

Look Straight Ahead

What are you looking at today? Not in the natural, but with your spiritual eyes. In other words, what is in the forefront of your mind and in your heart? Are you constantly dwelling on your problems or things that have happened in your past? In the natural, you will move in the direction that your eyes are looking. In the spiritual, it works the same way. Whatever you focus your mind and heart on, you will move toward.

That’s why today’s verse tells us to look straight ahead. If you are constantly dwelling on your problems or things in your past, wondering “what if,” then you will stay right where you are. But if you choose to forgive and release the past, then you can focus on what is ahead of you and begin to move forward.

God doesn’t want you to live in the past. He wants you to keep growing and moving forward. Meditate on His goodness and focus on His promises. Look straight ahead so you can see His blessing and move forward into the life of victory He has promised you!

A Prayer for Today

“Father, today I set my focus on You. I choose to forget the past by forgiving others so that I can look straight ahead to Your promises. I ask that You direct my heart on the path of life that You have for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

    • Christianity is the most perverted system that ever shone on man (Quotation)

“…those who live by mystery & charlatanerie, fearing you would render them useless by simplifying the Christian philosophy, the most sublime & benevolent, but most perverted system that ever shone on man, endeavored to crush your well earnt, & well deserved fame.” – Thomas Jefferson to Joseph Priestley, Washington, March 21, 18011

    • The Bible is filled with superstitious beliefs that intelligent people rightly reject. It describes a world where a snake and a d o n k e y communicated with human beings in a human language, where people could reach upward of 900 years old, where a woman instantaneously transformed into a pillar of salt, where a pillar of fire could lead people by night, and where the sun stopped moving across the sky or could even back up.

In this imaginary world an ax head could float on water, a star could point down to a specific home, people could instantly speak in unlearned foreign languages, and one’s shadow or handkerchief could heal people. It is a world where a flood can cover the whole earth, and a man can walk on water, calm a stormy sea, change water into wine, or be swallowed by a…

    • Hitler dispatched Jews to the concentration camps and gas chambers for no reason other than their ethnic identity. This was a temporal punishment; it sometimes lasted only a few days. God, on the other hand, is prepared to send good, well-accomplished, and generous people to a place of everlasting punishment and torture for the ‘crime’ of not believing in something for which no credible evidence exists. The god of the Bible is, in effect, worse than Hitler.

  1. Lying and deceiving is part of the Christian evangelic tradition, which started with the founder of Christianity, Paul. Every method of trickery is employed to catch the gullible, the poor, and the ignorant. The missionary is a vulture preying on the destitute and the disadvantaged. He is in the service of Satan and his call is evil.

  2. Christianity is not illusions or fictional but real. Well learned scientists have started believing in what the bible says. Take a look at this. Scientists were carbon dating the earth and found that there’s really1 day missing and how come. One of them said look into the bible for it says after prayer the sun never went down for the same period lost in there research.
