President Edgar Lungu has sent a message of congratulations to Senior Chief Kasempa of the Kaonde-speaking people of Kasempa District in Northwestern Province, on the occasion to mark the chief’s 40th anniversary on the throne.
President Lungu has wished Chief Kasempa goodwill and God’s blessings as he continues to preside over the affairs of the people of Kasempa district.
According to the statement released by State House to the media, the President said that he was deeply impressed by the Chief’s unwavering commitment to the development of his chiefdom.
The President said that Chief Kasempa’s hardwork has contributed to the district’s continued attainment of high maize yields in the province.
President Lungu has also wished the Chief good health and success and the people of Kasempa district prosperity.
“I wish to extend to Chief Kasempa good will and God’s blessings as he clocks 40 years of being Chief. He is doing very well as his district continues to achieve high maize yields in the district,” the President said.
The Chief will mark his 40 years anniversary on Sunday, 9th October, 2016 since he ascended to the throne.
Chief Kasempa is acclaimed for his resolute stance to instil discipline among his people by promoting hardwork.
