Sports Kansanshi Dynamos take early lead in Div 1 Zone 2

Promotion chasing Kansanshi Dynamos have taken an early lead in the FAZ Division Zone Two after two rounds of matches played over the Easter weekend.

Kansanshi beat Chingola Police 1-0 and ZNS Lwamfumu 2-1 to top the Zone Two table with six points.

Newly promoted FQM Roads FC are second on inferior goal difference despite winning their first two matches.

Roads on Sunday stunned favourites FQMO Mining Operation 1-0 to move to six points.

Indeni are third on the table with four points after beating Roan 3-2 in their opening match prior to Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Mufulira Blackpool.

Elsewhere, Roan United recorded their first win of the season after thumping Kitwe United 3-0 at Kafubu Stadium in Luanshya.

Promoted Geokas Curve also registered their first win after beating Gomes Wanderers 1-0 in Kitwe.

The match between Ndola United and Zesco Luapula was called off in the first half due to heavy rains at Musa Kasonka Stadium.
