Islamic supreme council of Zambia president Suzyo Zimba says the country has enough preachers who can spread the gospel in the country.
Mr. Zimba said it is wrong for foreign pastors to disrespect the laws that govern the country on pretext of coming to spread the word.
He said overzealous prophets who enter the country to only to cause commotion should not be allowed.
” There is no problem with a preacher man coming to interpret the bible, but when they come to charge our people for prayers, such initiatives should not be supported, ” he said.
Mr. Zimba says Zambia has a record of losing people in the name of receiving free food adding that there is need to screen such prophets.
He added that foreign pastors should not not interfere in government’s decisions but respect the decisions.
Mr. Zimba says Prophet Bushiri’s scathing attack on the Zambian government is a test to Christians.
“Its a big test to Christians, its either you believe in God or you believe in prophets,” he said.
Mr. Zimba said Prophet BushIri should respect the Zambian government and its people as a sovereign State that should be left alone to runs it affairs.
The outspoken Tele-evanglist has become into conflict with the Zambian government when he challenged the barring of his spiritual father Prophet Eubert Angel from entering Zambia.
He said he was coming to Zambia to challenge this move by the government, a move that has erked Minister of National Guidance and Religious Affairs Reverand Godfridah Sumaili.
Copperbelt minister Bowman Lusambo, too, expressed his displeasure on the Prophet Bushiri saying he was going to ensure that the clergyman’s mining licence gets revoked,

Maybe its time for an RE lesson. Christian doctrine is centred on two main pillars: Prophecy and Revelation. Revelation is the fulfilment of prophecy. The prophets came before Christ and encoded what would be decoded in the revelation. Christ then came to fulfil these prophecies. This simple statement suggests that the prophecy was before Christ. So, who are these Prophets like Buhiri and what are they prophesying? The prophecy that governs christian doctrine, which Christ himself came to fulfil is to be found in the books of Joshua, Judges, Samuel, Kings, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel as well as in other books of the Bible, with so-called minor Prophets like Hosea, Joel, Amos, Habakkuk…etc. There are no other prophets before the second return of Christ but those of whom Christ warned…
