Patson Daka certified fit to face Iran

Zambia Under-20 coach Beston Chambeshi is breathing a sigh of relief in South Korea after getting the good news that striker Patson Daka is fit to face Iran on Wednesday.

Daka sustained a facial injury in Sunday’s 2017 FIFA U20 World Cup Group C 2-1 win over Portugal in Jeju on May 21.

The striker from Austrian club FC Liefering, was substituted in the 41st minute as the two sides’ headed into the break scoreless.

“After Sunday’s game, I am happy with the response from the team and everyone is ready and prepared for Wedsnesday game,” Chambeshi said.

“My worry was with Patson Daka but he has shown in training that his injury is not that serious so he is back in training and ready for Wednesday.”

Zambia lead Group C on3 points heading into their penultimate match while Iran are second after they beat Costa Rica 1-0.

  1. Every body new that the INJURY WAS A FAKE ONE , WE ALL KNOW THAT PATSON DAKAS WIFE IS A TONGA AND HE FAKED THE INJURY AS SOLIDARITY FOR HH MONDAYS CASE WHICH IS ADJOURNED TO WEDNESDAY. THE SAME DAY WE FACE IRAN. COACH NEVER CONSIDER THIS BOY TO MAKE TO THE FIRST ELEVEN, HE IS PURE UPND THEIR IS NO WAY HE CAN DELIVER FOR ZAMBIIA WHEN HIS MASTER WILL BE CHARGED WITH TREASON ON WEDNESDAY FOR LIFE IMPRISONMENT OR FACE DEATH PENALTY , ITS FOR HIM TO CHOOSE BUT I GUESS HE WILL CHOOSE LIFE SENTENCE
