22 year old man killed in Mazabuka

 

Police in Mazabuka District have picked up a body of a dead man believed to have been murdered by unknown people.

ZANIS reports that Southern Province Police Commissioner Bonny Kapeso confirmed that Police picked the body of a man he identified as JONATHAN Mbili aged 22 a resident of Appolo  compound.

Mr. Kapeso disclosed that Mbili’s body was found lying in a pool of blood near Mazabuka Primary School football grounds.

He said the body was found with bruises on both ears and blood gashing from the nose.

Mr. Kapeso said Mbili was seen last night drinking at a named bar in Kabbobola Compound before he was murdered.

And ZANIS investigations into the matter revealed that the deceased could have been trailed from the bar on his way home.

Some people interviewed who reside near the place where the body was found said they heard huge noise of people fighting and struggling with each other around middle night.

Meanwhile Mr. Kapeso said police have since opened a docket of murder in the matter as they highly suspect foul play in the incidence.
