Nkana on Saturday missed a chance to go top of the FAZ Super Division after giving away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with Kabwe Warriors at Nkana Stadium in Wusakile, Kitwe.
The home side led on 25 minutes when midfielder Austin Muwowo tapped in from close range a Simon Bwalya header.
Creative midfielder Jacob Ngulube doubled Nkana’s lead after beating keeper Lawrence Mulenga.
Warriors’ come back was inspired by Paul Simpemba’s shot on 57th minute was deflected into the net by Nkana’s Aaron Katebe.
Midfielder Lameck Kafwaya ensured that his side snatched a point when he made it 2-2 in the 60th minute.
Nkana moved to 16 points after playing 10 matches, while Warriors moved up from 19th to 17th position and have seven points.
In Chingola, Lusaka Dynamos thumped Nchanga Rangers 3-1 to move to the top of the league table with 17 points.
Mervin Jere, Chris Mugalu and Herman Hasswa scored for Dynamos in this Week 10 match played at Nchanga Stadium.
The win pushed coach Patrick Phiri’s side to 17 points after 10 matches played.
At Konkola Stadium in Chililabombwe, Steward Chikandiwa grabbed a brace while Jumbel Sakala contributed another as Nkwazi thrashed Konkola Blades 3-0.
