Patriotic Front (PF) Secretary General Davies Mwila says the ruling party will not allow its members to issue statements to the public except those designated to do so.
Mr. Mwila says this is in line with ongoing party program to best manage information flow between the PF and the public through the various available media in the country.
He said only specific office bearers have the authority to issue official statements for and on behalf of the party.
Among those identified includes the President of the Party, the vice president, the General Secretary, and the deputy Secretary General other than the ruling party’s deputy spokesperson and the media director.
He however stated that any other members will be free to express themselves in their individual capacity and not of the party.
He said any of such expression, if reported, must be clearly attributed to its author and not the party.
He further noted that the identified office bearers reserve the right and authority to appoint individuals to communicate on their behalf from time to time adding that appointments will have to be verified through the Secretary General and/or that of the Media Directorate under his Office.
Mr. Mwila said this in a statement obtained by ZANIS, this evening.
Below is the full statement

Still too many
Sounds like dictatorship, no freedom of expression. Anyway, when Lungu listed who should comment on treason case, we thought PF will have sanity, but instead became worse.
What are their names of those PF bosses?
What good does this do? I would understand if this was the first and only directive, but alas, we have had such directives even before. The the last one was from ECL barring everyone from commenting on HH case, how many PF vuvuzelas have done so despite the president’s directive? Almost every day, there is a new PF superstar commenting, leaving one wondering if there is any leadership within this party to control these people.
If they have not listened to ECL directive, I doubt Mwila`s will hold. Such directives are becoming a circus and leaving opportunity for one to wonder what was going on in PF – signs of dictatorship????
HOW MANY TIMES HAVE WE HEARD THIS DIRECTIVE!
No need to issue such a confused statement. You should have just said that Sumaili cannot issue statements on PF’s behalf because it is costing you huge legal bills already – simple! But even ar.sewhores like Sunday will always bring disasters to you PF pigs!
Kampamba iyo. She was drunk at angry at reporters
Sumaili the minister of religious beliefs.
Really laughable…this is likened to being tasked to write down noise makers in a chibuku tavern. …too many grade 12 and grade 7 kaponyas!!
@ 1.7 Jay Jay kkkkkkkkk wansekesha you have just made my day, it’s like being tasked to write down noise makers in a chibuku tavern kkkkkk nice, I agree though I am PF but it’s funny and it’s true
Hope this is the end of the infamous ZNBC “walk-in interviews”
Ohh, what about Max Chongu, the Chief Violent Cadre, who owns PF?
Finally….
Give it 24 hrs some empty tin will jump up from a toilet seat!!
It’s about time, these guys are so disorganized
Can we get all the pf members including that ugly teethy pwazi lungu in one room and then pour petrol and accidentally light a match stick like ooops burn the dogs
Nez welcome back, you was missing on LT.
NEZ I thought you had fled to the other side! Welcome back, careful what you eat or say or you will be hit by a car.
@Barabas, online death threats to fellow bloggers? Really? Do PF pay you enough to kill?
Hi NEZ, my brother. Please tone down. Your hatred of ECL will kill you. We are many that didn’t vote for Edgar Lungu. But we don’t insult day in day out. There’s life beyond politics and presidency. The electric bulb inventor failed 1000 times and only succeeded @ 1001th attempt. So please your rantings only serves to alienate us non Ts from your bantutans party. But we shall hung on as long as GMB remains.
Great UNPD die hard supporter
Its not only PF which seems to be disorganized, but upnd too.i read statements from charles kakoma, gbm, garry nkombo, mutale nalumango, mutinta hichilema, mweetwa,Habubaba, etc.
But that said, well done Hon.Davis Mwila.order is vital in any organization.
VOTE EDGAR LUNGU-2021!!
Those its ok they have no instrument of power
They have a right to personal opinion, unlike every ejoti purporting to speak for the Party & Its Government (p.i.g)
Every Ejoti felt obligated to speak to the press and mostly they spoke incoherent crap, being so dumb as they are.
Interesting. What is the role of the Spokeperson if he or she cannot speak for and on behalf of the party?
If unpd were to run unopposed hh would still lose the election because of his insulting supporters. Nalumango now accepts she or he is chairing wrong people.
Some sanity now,Thumbs up ba SG.
which schol did this SG go to..?kekekeke..yaba..
This move by PF is good and can help to reduce political tension in the country. But am worried about Mumbi Phiri who does not have wisdom and talks before anyhow. High level leadership demands high levels of diplomacy especially if one is often in the media.
@HH OVAL HEAD,
YOU ARE SUFFERING UNDER THE DEFECT OF REASONING.YOUR HATRED FOR THE CHILD OF GOD HH IS MAKING YOU INSANE.
IF YOU EAT FOOD AND YOU DONT DEFECATE THEN YOUR *****IC STATEMENT THAT HH CANT WIN EVEN AN APPOSED CAN BE TRUE.YOU ARE VERY STUPIT.
Mule belengako na Zambian eagle or Zambian observers and not your LT only
He has just mentioned six positions who are these people? Just thinking! i only know ELC as president.
