Roan PF Member of Parliament Chishimba Kambwili and UPND Vice President Geofrey Mwamba today visited incarcerated opposition leader Hakainde Hichilema.
Other opposition figures who visited Mr Hichilema include former Kafue Member of Parliament Obvious Mwaliteta and Green Party leader Peter Sinkamba.
Mr Kambwili was met at Mukobeko by Mr Mwamba and a horde of UPND cadres who cheered him on upon arrival.
Mr Mwamba then asked Mr Kambwili to join the UPND to kick out the PF.
He said the opposition should unite and teach President Edgar Lungu a lesson.
Mr. Mwaliteta travelled to Kabwe with his family to visit Hichilema.
And Mr Kambwili told Journalists that told UPND supporters that he specifically went to Mukobeko to ask for forgiveness from Mr. Hichilema.
He said Mr. Hichilema was too clean to be in a filthy place like Mukobeko when thieves are still in government stealing.
He says he is aware that the PF want to fight him, but he is fully prepared to fight back in a dirty way.
“I specifically came here to apologize to my President. We all know he does’ not deserve to be here, he is just too clean. Corrupt people are still there in government enjoying but one dag they will also come here” Mr. Kambwili said.

Kambwili will be the VP and GBM will remain the VP on administration. Whatever that means.
Either way as much as UPND will get stronger – they will not beat Lungu was has a 100% success in erections. So forget about 2021

The only thing that can disturb PF from winning 2021 is the maize floor price thats it not the shenanigans of the opposition! Sad the people at the top in govt have failed to see this. Last year a lot of farmers and people new to farming grew maize and soya. Indeed the maize floor price is supposedly a reflection of supply and demand but even in advanced economies such as In EU they set a minimum price for producers above breakeven amount for key agro commodities inorder to secure continued production. It would not hurt the economy so much to just increase the floor price by 30ngwe in order to greatly boost the local economy in rural areas across the land!
Ctn…An increase to K1.5 (K75 per 50kg)from the current K1.2 (K60per 50kg)is something the govt can easily manage as it will encourage farmers to produce for the coming season and thus safegurad the State from the embarrassing scenario of importing maize should there be a drastic reduction in production. The total amount of maize FRA has budgeted to purchase is 500,000 tons which translates into K600 million increasing to K1.5 per kg would mean the State would only spend an extra K150million or aprox USD18million which would be money well spent as it will secure so many farmers livelihoods and the nations future production of maize!

You must be a toddler! You don’t remember the early performance of UNIP and MMD? Up until the late 1970’s Zambia was a paradise. I remember the clean towns of the copperbelt, and the pleasant look of Lusaka city. Also, when Mwanawasa took over he built on Chiluba’s open market model and begun many infrastructure projects. The PF have not had any coherent plan…just a lot of spaghetti politics where we get a whole bunch of loans but we don’t increase the economic output of the country. If that is your standard of performance then we are doomed!
