Zambia rally to hold Bafana in CHAN qualifier

Zambia kept their 2018 CHAN qualification hopes alive on Saturday when they rallied from two-down to draw 2-2 away with Bafana Bafana at Buffalo Park Stadium in East London.

Gift Motupa and Mario Booysen scored for South Africa in the 31st and 47 minutes respectively.

Martin Phiri pulled one back for Zambia in the 61st minute that saw his effort took a deflection off defender Lebogana Phiri.

Augustine Mulenga levelled matters in stoppage time just a minute after Bafana were reduced to ten men when defender Tercious Malepe was sent off for a second bookable offence.

Zambia must now beat Bafana on August 19 in the final leg at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola to qualify for the tournament Kenya will host from January 11 to February 2.

  1. Wedson, you have no team the way things stand now, you boys had no

Wedson , you have every good reason to be worried. Don’t know whether that is your best set of legs you have for the job or not . if they are , you have not yet find a coaching job yourself then. be assured we are in for a shock in the return match unless you urgently inject a new lease of life in those lazy legs of your boys.
