Sports Div 1 Wrap: Status quo for Kansanshi, Indeni, Kitwe

Leaders Kansanshi Dynamos, Indeni and Kitwe United maintained their respective positions in FAZ Division 1 Zone 2 top three despite dropping points at the weekend.

Kansanshi were held to a 1-1 draw by visitors Kalulushi Modern with Indeni drawing goalless against Zesco Luapula and Kitwe United forced a frustrating 0-0 home draw against Geokas Curve in the Kitwe derby.

Kansanshi lead Zone 2 with 43 points after 22 matches played.

Second placed Indeni and third placed Kitwe have 41 points each but the Oil Men have a superior goal difference.

FQM Roads are fourth on the table with 37 points following a 1-0 win over visitors Mufulira Blackpool.

ZNS Lwamfumu stayed in the race for promotion after stealing a goallesss draw at FQMO Mining Operation.

Fifth placed Lwamfumu have 32 points from 22 matches played.
