UK Based Lily Mutamz releases new single “My Jesus”

UK Based Lily Mutamz releases her latest single titled “My Jesus” which is off her upcoming album. The song was recorded with UK based Nigerian producer, Adeolu Bayode popularly known as Dexedo. The two met in Stockton-On-Tees, North East England and have since been working towards the album titled “Forever you reign”. This song is expected to go across Africa due to the style Lily used. The song was written by Lily whilst on her flight to Lagos, Nigeria earlier this year. Lily says immediately the words were coming out of her mouth; she began writing and recorded an audio version on her mobile device. “Meeting Dexedo who was a producer whilst living in Nigeria and now lives over here was like a dream come true, it is rare to find such talent around”. Having listened to the Song, it is very catchy and is danceable at any occasion. Lily has also recorded a wedding song with Dexedo and will soon be available worldwide.

Lily has also been working on a dance routine for ‘My Jesus’ with the kids she teaches at her school in the UK, Pure Afro Performance Academy. As you may be aware, Lily Mutamz is passionate about performing arts and her input is being appreciated by her local council.

Lily and the dancers shot a dance viral video on Wednesday which will be released soon. There is also a dance challenge for this song that is open to anyone interested. All you have to do to take part is simply download the song, dance with your group then upload it to your Instagram with the hash tag #MyJesusDance #LilyMutamz and then also send it to her via her facebook pages. The best dance video will stand a chance of winning an undisclosed gift.

My Jesus is available on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, Spotify, Deezer and more online outlets. Lily says Proverbs 3 vs 5- 6 also inspired her as it states that we must trust in the Lord with all our hearts. It is her prayer that this song will inspire you.

Could this song be bigger than her Nigerian recorded song “You Are”? Let’s hear from you in the comments section.

Wishing you the very best Lily as you keep flying the Zambian flag higher!

  1. Bwafya kwena; it’s like Simon Peter and his “Golf ball” type nose was from Kabwe. Once l am elected President of Zambia some day in the near future, l wud ban RELIGION for good.

  2. How can a Zambian be called Lilly Mutamz? Why do you Zambians like putting your identity in the closet? Aren’t you proud of being African? On the other hand, the Nigerian producer, Adeolu Bayode is very proud of his name. He hasn’t changed it to sound like a European name

  3. THERE IS NOTHING WITH RELIGION. YOU DON’T NECESSARILY HAVE TO BE BLACK TO BELIEVE IN SOMETHING. EVERYONE BELIEVES IN SOMETHING INCLUDING NON BELIEVERS
