  1. Copy culture form RnB, I miss PK Chishla because there was a lot of learning from those songs. Nowadays it’s Zambia twasebana.

  2. Let’s have more Originality from the likes of the great Serenje Kalindula Band, Spokes Chola , PK Chishala, Paul Ngozi, “Bala Ngombe”, Mulemena zBoys etc. etc. Countries like Nigeria & DEC have managed to sell their Local Music Internationally without being Mimicking Parrots. Lets have Music which can be enjoyed by the whole Family without the Kids asking, “Tata, inga ichi ba lumbula Chinshi?”

  3. Ah! Smokey Hangaala, Spuki Mulemwa & the Traditional drums from most Provinces. Musicians from DEC have success because they are products from grand Masters like Franco. We also have Great Teachers to Learn from.

  4. Of course the Young Generation are free to Join the Computerised modern way of doing Music. But with Decency Baiche. Not producing things your own Parents will Curse. The Evellyn Hone College, School of Music should be encapacitated to show the Way. Music should not be seen as a Career for Noisemakers or Gangsters.

  5. Art is also serious Business. Not showing us how a Coffin failed to be closed because something remained erect. Awe kwena, we need morals in everything. Does the Censorship Board still exist on Films, Music, etc.? In our days you couldn’t enter Broadway Cinema and those others in Lusaka if you could not touch the other ear. Ninshi uli mwaiche. Imagine, even to watch Clint Eastwood. Ala tuletamba nokumfwa ifinangwa sana.

  6. Sorry I meant DRC above and not DEC. These are collateral issues with Technology. You also wonder why the queues move slowly in Supermarkets using modern computerized POS Systems. These have Suspend (archive) & Recall facilities to enable them serve others instead of wait for someone who has dashed to an ATM, because his Visa Card failed, even when buying just 1 loaf of bread. It pays to carry some Cash, for contingency purposes.

  7. We encountered such intelligent POS Systems more than 20 years ago in Europe. Including those that Subtract, in case you overestimated your pocket. A lot needs to go into training. Not like some attendant who tried to trick me into my Change since the display was truncating the 1 from a 1000.

  8. The biggest hindrance to sporting excellence in Zambia has mainly been poor administration, where former sports personalities take the leap into administration. I believe we could turn this around by seeking out proven business leaders to manage sporting bodies such as FAZ or the boxers, swimmers’ associations. Let them monetize the talent, bring in sponsorship and utilise these funds to support training of coaches and athletes. That’s my thought on this issue and please, let’s debate it with clarity of thought. Other than that, this is a forgettable video from Slap D.
