Chipolopolo coach Wedson Nyirenda is among the 77 applicants for the vacant Cameroon job.
The Cameroon job is vacant following the departure of Hugo Broos who guided The Indomitable Lions to the 2017 AFCON title.
According to the list obtained by BBC African Football, Nyirenda has officially filed in his application with amongst others his ex -coach at Kaizer Chiefs Philippe Troussier.
Nyirenda guided Zambia to 2-2 home and 1-1 away draws against Cameroon in the 2018 World Cup Group B qualifiers.

I will not say all the best to him simply because he stands zero chance. Cameroon can not recruit a struggling coach. They will go for a high profile coach equal to their status and wedson is far from it. This is a case of overconfidence without qualities

Some people are mad. What does Wada has on his CV to even dream of applying for such a job. FAZ is supposed to be firing the 1diot for his serious under performance as Chipolopolo coach.
Says alot about Cameroon..77 applicants in Zambia they applicants do not even reach 5 as the wages are pathetic…no wonder they are clinging on to Nyirenda as he is cheap.
One thing about West Africans is that they do not have time for patience when it comes to football..Nyirenda is just not good enough and wouldn’t command the respect of the overseas players.
